After searching everyplace for moulding to restore my 1910 house, finally someone told me about The Moulding Company. It's rare to find a building supplies business that is so well set up for customers. Inside is gorgeous. Each wall is partitioned into areas showcasing lavish amounts of moulding in every imaginable period and style. Makes you want to buy a lot and do your whole house like that! They have a wall of samples. There's an example on the outside of each compartment and samples to handle inside. So easy to envision the end result. You are welcome to take free samples home to decide on site to decide what works best for you. The prices are fair as well. My house is looking great!

Great showroom / helpful friendly staff in the showroom and in the warehouse. Very DIY friendly. I did my first remodel project in my home several years ago and used their Moulding and now several years later and a few projects later they still have the same Moulding available so I can get the Moulding I need when I need it - very convenient.

This place claims that they sell to contractors and diy folks. My contractor asked me to go there. Pick out what I like within my budget and the employee there questioned me. He actually wanted to confirm that I had a contractor and he was going to call him. Very embarrassing, they both got fired today

Overall I have always enjoyed and received great service from The Moulding Company, and would have rated them four to five stars if it wasn't for their return policy. Writing this review as more of a warning to customers purchasing from their Webstore to make sure the molding you are ordering is 100% correct or you will not be able to return it for a refund unless you bring it back to their warehouse on your own. I recently purchased 8x16lf lengths (128lf) of crown molding, hard to return those lengths, which were delivered and turned out to be incorrect, 100% my mistake. When I called to order the correct larger size, I asked if they could pick-up the smaller size crown at my cost when they delivered the new crown, they said no as it does not align with their policy, which was confirmed by the manager. I even asked them if they could pick it up without a providing return credit so they could resell vs me throwing all of the crown out, and they still said no. A headscratcher that the same delivery truck that is bringing the crown can't simply pick up the mis-ordered crown.

I have shopped there for over 30 years. I did complain for the first time (really) at the incredible incompetence of one sales assistant last Saturday. On top of that the moldings (204F) were the worst quality I have gotten from them in a while. I spoke to Mark, one of of the managers just now. He listened politely and then said: I will defend my college and since you are not happy with our service and our quality I want you to shop somewhere else in future. I am in shock. This is a first in 35 years. I know I was very strong in my critique because it cost me so much time, but still. Here is a list of what Ricardo did on my phone in order: I told him I needed 2 each 10' and 2 each 8' moldings. (Because they had to be cut) He could not figure out that this translated to me needing three 16' pieces (the std. length) We struggled with this for a while. He agreed to have the moldings cut before I arrive. He did not and it would have been against company policy to do so anyway according to Mark. I did not know that or I wouldn't have asked. The order did not have the correct length measurements I asked him for and repeated. He wrote down cut all to 10'. I arrived after hours (8 Minutes, due to Google listing the wrong hours) and he told me he can not help me because nobody was here. He was there at the time loading molding for a lady in the parking lot!!! I said YOU are still working. The reply: Nobody is here. My whole argument is: If you are helping her, why not me. I have never in my life asked for a business to open after hours. I was also still under the believe that the moldings had been cut and were ready...which as I mentioned they were not. When I said I drove 35 minutes one way to be here, can you not just reach in and hand me the moldings? Nobody is here. The conclusion is that his English has no depth and he does not admit when he does not understand. I do not believe I was singled out. This to me is the kindest explanation. I was so upset about the treatment of Mark, I called another showroom and talked to someone. This is what he said about the quality: We are struggling with our suppliers and have more than normal. I am sorry for the inconvenience. What a difference. My reply? I understand. He also told me that Concord is the headquarters and he can not offer an opinion on Mark, but if I want to shop at their location they are welcoming me.

Simply wow - the shop opens up to this fantastic specimen of front entry door! They have a really cool selection of walk-in rooms with different baseboard, crown mounding and wainscoting options - gives you a very at-home feel. Staff is great - helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable!Must-visit if you are planning on adding mounding to your home!

Pricing was much better than Home Depot/Lowes. Free delivery was a huge bonus, and customer service was friendly and helpful!
