I used to shop and support the teen challenge thrift store in concord for many years. In the past few months they have completely changed their displays and the way they interact with customers. We are in our 70s and like to read. We would buy paper back books like 4 for a dollar. And donate them back after we read them. Now we are charged a dollar each. And the attitude of the employees is now just as bad. We will not spend our SSI money there any more or give them donations. Pricing items when you go to pay for them is ridiculous.

Stopped by there last week. They seriously need to clean up and organize their store. Broken, dirty toys. Pieces of junk on the shelves including an exploded AA battery. Very depressing junk.
