I shop here frequently both for work & my own home. Don't expect the niceties or variety of products you will see at a retail grocery store - this is a food service vendor focused on the wholesale market that happens to be open to the public. That said, the staff is unfailingly pleasant & helpful and the prices good.

Have to be careful with the item’s labels & prices. When checking out. I caught them so far more than 3 times already over charge my cart or even do double charge your cart. They did it wrong and they put you back in the line to do the refund/recharge. Waste time!

Very clean and organized. No "warehouse food" smells. Great selection, some of my favorites that are not available at that "big box" down the street! Will be back!

We have not been to this location until today. It was great organized and stopped very well. Compared to the stores in Sacramento will most likely go here for often.

I've passed by this place quite a bit but I always assumed you needed a membership like Restaurant Depot. It wasn't until I watched a Tiktok and this girl said that US Foods Chef's Store is open to the public! I went the very next day! The store is like Costco but more heavily geared towards restaurants and cafes. The sell in bulk but in a lot larger portions than Costco. Their meat freezer was insane! The portions are good for catering businesses, but it's definitely too much if you're a household purchasing. The thing I really enjoyed here was their coffee syrup aisle! It was insane how many options they carry. They have Torani for $5.99 and Monin syrups for $7.99. I grabbed one of the Torani Lavender Syrups and I also bought Chai Concentrate for a little over $6. I was trying to copycat the Iced Lavender Chai Lattes that Nordstrom Cafe sells and this was spot on! I'll for sure come back to repurchase.

They have a wide selection of items to buy in bulk. It's open to the public, so you don't need to be a business owner to shop here. They have great items to buy for your dinner parties, birthdays, etc. The staff is helpful, but they'll mostly leave you alone so you can continue shopping. The place is clean inside, which is good.

Who would need 20 lbs of flour? Me! It's awesome to have a bulk size foods option that's NOT Costco, etc. Just quality foods & services merch @ wholesale(ish) prices without a membership!

The employees are awesome....super helpful & personable. The selection is pretty good. However, we've had to point out obviously spoiled fruits & veggies a few times (it should have been noticed by employees). They do have good prices on some things, but I would suggest searching prices while shopping bc there is a chance that you might be getting one of their way overpriced items. Just a heads up!
