As a regular customer of theirs, I was surprised by the way I was treated on the phone. Anthony must of had a very bad day. Management needs to focus on him and his poor customer service skills. I for one will not be returning.

We have hvac company and Slakey concord is the best is customer service. George made my life easy by answering in text and Jordan and Mike in the store are super helpful with my orders! Hope they stay in concord forever!

It is very bad customer service. Even there is very aggressive worker. Yes I came the branch to pick up my order and parked in front of pick up door where fork lifts are driven. They told me that i can't go through this door to front desk to get my paperwork then I had to go back to other side warehouse where located front desk. Ok I went and get paperwork then again back to big door. I tried to tell a guy "Mickle" that it is not convenient to back in force because many locations front desk and pick door very close each other. He didn't listen me and walked towards me with ready fist to fight with me. It seems like "Mickle" was really aggressive. Fortunately branch manager "Jorden" came out and calmed him down. I think this location should learn how to treat customers. If you need something in Slake Brothers I don't recommend this location. Because there are a lot of options such like Johnstone supply, Baker, Sigler, Goodman etc. if you need a really SlakeyBrothers go to other locations Hayward, Oakland, San Francisco - they are much better even faster.

HVAC wholesalers in general don't provide superb service IMO. That's hardly surprising given the thin margins they operate on and the highly volatile nature of the HVAC business. It's brutal sometimes. When it's a thousand degrees outside customers beat up contractors and contractors beat up their suppliers. Think about that before complaining, ay contractors? Anywho, I've patronized Slakey for the last 28 years. If we're to grade on the "HVAC wholesaler curve", they're top notch IMO. Their prices for the things I buy from them are excellent and their customer service is every bit as good as their primary competitors. I particularly like their online ordering system. All of that makes them one of my top three local suppliers.

Great company, great service. No one's perfect, but as a professional in the HVAC/Plumbing industry, their support is very good. They can usually find it if they don't have it, and the staff is always courteous and friendly. Pricing is fair, and they're good about alternate options.
