We normally go to Costco but just recently added a Sam's membership to try. And it had more than we thought. It definitely wasn't as crowded as Costco and we had to scan membership card for everything including food court and exit. But I liked the fact that a lot of their sizes weren't as big as Costco size. Selection was decent and we saw stuff (especially snacks) that Costco didn't carry. And this the kicker, the food court! More selection, cheaper since smaller but who cares. We got a slushy and pretzel. This would be a kid's reward if the kids were younger. Except this Sam's didn't have a gas station. Otherwise once kids are gone and you don't need Costco sizes, Sam's is a good and less stressful alternative.

I came in to Sam's Club to get a membership. But The line is long it wraps around to the corner into the battery section. So I stand I. Line to purchase a membership. As I'm standing in line, I'm waiting to see how long it's gonna take me to get a membership. It didn't take long at all so stop in and get signed up & Kassie & Kayla in membership services is very nice and knowledgeable about membership and anything you need in Sam's Club.

Great prices! Before I purchase I always check prices at COSTCO and today Sam's prices were lower on all items. Plus they deliver to my front door. Go check prices and save money. Yes I am member of both COSTCO Concord, CA and Sam's Club.

As someone who has memberships at both Sam's Club and Costco, I find myself gravitating more towards Sam's Club, and here's why. The standout feature for me is their 'Scan and Go' system. It's a game-changer! The ability to simply scan items as I shop, pay through the app, and bypass the checkout lines entirely is incredibly convenient. I often wonder why Costco hasn't implemented something similar. Another aspect I prefer at Sam's Club is the store layout. It feels more navigable and shopper-friendly compared to Costco. And when it comes to their meat selection, especially the steaks, I find them to be superior in quality at Sam's Club. They consistently offer great cuts that are perfect for grilling. My only gripe is the scarcity of Sam's Club locations. I really wish they would expand more. Having more stores would make it even easier to access their great products and services. Sam's Club, if you're listening, please consider opening more outlets! In conclusion, for its convenience, quality of products, and especially the 'Scan and Go' feature, Sam's Club gets my vote over Costco. It's definitely worth checking out if you have the option in your area.

Robert Rose, Chef doing the demo was rude to customers. He did not have appropriate signage saying Nope- he has a kitchen apparently unmarked on the floor. Robert Rose need better training so customer experience is not spoiled.

Total bait and switch scam. They place more expensive items under labels with a cheaper price and then when you purchase it you are charged for the higher priced item!!! Then make you wait in unreasonable lines to return the item.

I signed up for directv in the store, and I was told I had 14 days to cancel and get a full refund from the time I activated the account when I returned from my trip (I had a funeral to attend out of state). When I got it, they told me I had 14 from the time I signed up. Obviously, I was lied to by the salesman. This lesson costs me $132+ dollars. I would not recommend trusting the salesman even though it is in Sam's club. I thought Sam's club would stand by people who do business on their property. I was wrong.

I went to shop at Sam's club for the first time, I was truly amazed at the lady at the front entrance. She was so helpful, kind and she was pretty. She went out her way to help me , just amazing. It seems like nothing but because of her customer service I would recommend any and all to go there. Usually the person there just stands there to verify if your a member, but she was helping everyone. Carts was stuck, she would get them for us. Couldn't find your membership on your phone she was there to help. Her name is Mary, there need to be more like her. Go there and you'll see what I'm talking about. I will be going back this week not to Costco but to Sam's club because of the excellent customer service.

So today my wife and I walk into Sam's club Folsom at 9:40 AM and were told that we were a "blue card" member which meant we could not enter until 10 and we'd have to wait or upgrade our membership. I told her that we looked into the upgrade and it wasn't worth the $55.00 dollars for us. She stated, with an attitude, that one of the perks was you get in at 9:00 AM. I can go over to Costco and get in at 9:00 AM (she stated fine.) So we went to Costco and spent $150.00Maybe Sam's Club should look into that

I hate that there are a handful of items that I need from Sam's Club. Otherwise I wouldn't step foot in that place. Management here is the WORST, I have witnessed them treat the employees like complete . I hope they treat their families better. No surprise I guess. They are a part of Walmart.

I am not sure what I think of Sam's Club. I am a Costco member as well and recently became a Sam's club member. Some pros of Sam's Club to Costco is being a Plus member allows for more flexibility while shopping (earlier opening times, free curbside and shipping). It's a little frustrating that Costco has not adopted these features and the scan as you go on the app is very convenient on Sam's Club. So these are definitely advantage for being a Sam's club member. The items sold at Sam's club are not always very big or club size, it's just larger than the typical but not as Costco big. This warehouse has a lot of items but sometimes, I feel like it's not enough. It can also be overwhelming at times. Parking here is very easy. I find the card check at the door is hit and miss. Sometimes, there is someone there and other times, there isn't.
