Both of my kids attended St Michael's preschool. We absolutely loved it. All the teachers are amazing and so supportive. My daughter was attending pre K during the pandemic and had to bring a computer every day to do online school. They put a classroom in place to support all the kids who had online learning. My son did pre K with st michaels since his birthday was outside of the time to attend public school. The difference in my kids is wild. My daughter did public pre k and with the online learning has a really hard time still in second grade. My son did the program offered at day care and is so advanced for kindergarten. The teacher put their own pre k curriculum together and my son learned so much. I can not recomend this school enough. They are so loving and kind and really teach the children the same principles.

My granddaughter started over a year ago at St.Michaels. She was about two at that time and having a difficult time saying goodbye to us in the morning. The teachers are absolutely amazing, they always gave me a wink like "she'll be fine" she definitely was. As a grandparent it's was harder for me to leave her. But St.Michels is a safe place where we don't have to worry.She's now three years old, she is thriving and has learned so much. The Teachers and the staff again wonderful. She's always learning something new. Whether doing Yoga on the playground or art projects in class. Counting, reading and so much more. My daughter has no doubt that she'll be more than ready at Kindergarten time. It's a very special place, I'd would definitely recommend.

We are so happy that we found St Michael's Preschool! We toured several others in the area, but ultimately decided to choose this school because of the super friendly staff, familial environment, cleanliness, and overall feeling we got after our tour. I could see my daughter flourishing here, after seeing how happy the other children were. As her first preschool and daycare type environment, she struggled with drop off. But ALL of the teachers made the effort to make that transition as seamless as possible, with their care and ability to console her with no hesitation. The teachers also know every child's name at the school, and even their parents! You always feel welcomed and cared for when entering through their doors. Thank you to all the teachers at St. Michael's, especially her teachers Ms. Jennifer, Ms. Maria, and the school Director Ms. Colleen. All of our children are so lucky to be under their guidance and loving care.

We discovered St. Michael's Preschool based on a friend's recommendation, and we are very grateful that we were able to enroll our son there since mid-2023. Our son had a challenging experience at his previous preschool, where he would cry every morning before leaving for school, stating that it was no fun. As parents, it was truly heart-wrenching to hear.During the first few weeks at St. Michael's, Miss Colleen and Miss Carla welcomed our son with warmth and love, and the transition went much smoother than we expected. The entire staff team is incredibly caring and dedicated. Every teacher learned our son's name right from the start, and they created a warm and nurturing environment where children can truly thrive.The curriculum is well-rounded and designed to promote not only academic growth but also social and emotional development. In addition to math, art, and literacy, Miss Carla also engages the children in public speaking activities at a young age. We have witnessed our child flourishing in so many ways since starting here.One of the standout features of St. Michael's is their commitment to open communication. Parents receive various updates through apps, newsletters, and in-person parent meetings.The school also provides hot lunches and snacks for the children, which is a tremendous time-saver for us as working parents. Every day, our child returns home and raves about the delicious meals they've enjoyed.We wholeheartedly appreciate the wonderful teachers at St. Michael's, and we recommend the school to any parents seeking the right place for their little ones.________________________________________

My daughter started preschool her about 2 months ago and the director and all the teachers and staff have been so friendly, welcoming and caring. We are so happy with our experience so far.I originally reached out via email to inquire about enrolling our daughter and Colleen, the director, was super quick to reply and provided all necessary information to get started. We scheduled a tour for our whole family to come see and loved it immediately. We paid our deposit, picked a start date and the days my daughter would attend and the process was so easy. The registration packet was very informative and we were prepared for her first day. My best friend's son went through St. Micheal's and had the best experience there! He had graduated and they let him (and a few other kids in the same situation) come back during COVID for homework help and navigating their new online school format. I just thought that was so cool and helpful and really shows how much they love their school families! From their Halloween parade to the Christmas program and more, I am so excited to experience these special moments with my daughter! We have about 5 more families that we know that are currently sending their kids to St. Michael's and it makes me feel good to know that other mom's I trust also trust St. Micheal's with their little ones. I knew I wanted to send my daughter after all these wonderful experiences were shared with me. They are huge on their security and door code access and that reassured me of my child's safety while there. They also use a app to send pictures of an activity your child did that day while at school. I love getting these pictures and updates. I just can't say enough good about St. Michael's!!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about St. Michael's! It was the only preschool that we looked at for our 2 daughters because when we took a tour, it immediately felt so welcoming and we just knew it was the right fit. We've been part of the St. Michael's community now for almost 2 years. The director Ms. Colleen, Ms. Alicia, and all of the teachers are so wonderful! They have great communication via a private app and through their monthly newsletter. They plan fun activities for the kids and families throughout the year. I love that they have classrooms broken out by age group and the kids learn different things according to their age group. Our kids have learned SO much since starting here! They are always excited to go to school. They teach the kids to be kind and respectful. They have chapel once a week (a highlight for our kids, they love singing the songs!). We are confident that the curriculum is setting our kids up for success once they move on to elementary school. Our family feels so fortunate to have found St. Michael's and become part of their community. They treat everyone like family. Thank you St. Michael's for being the best!

Hands down the best preschool. St Michael's teachers offer a loving inclusive environment. My son came in at three years old and I wish I had known about this school with all my kids. He loves to go to school, he has made friends, and he loves all the teachers. But he has a special place in his heart for the director Ms. Colleen. One thing I really love about this school is how the teachers and director honor and value the individualism of each kid. They have brought out the best in my son. He plays well at home, at school, with other kids and he has so much confidence.Oh, and I can't leave a review without mentioning that they make all the food in house. They provide two snacks and lunch. My son loves all the food! Highly recommend this preschool.

We have had a child enrolled at St Michael's since 2018. Since day one they have been welcoming, loving and extremely flexible with our children. We have increased, decreased days a week and they are always able to help accommodate our family's needs. You have a small home daycare feel with all the perks of a larger preschool. We currently drive from Martinez to Concord because we couldn't find another school that could compare after we moved in 2019. We always recommend St Michael's to all our friends and family in the Concord area. We especially love that we don't have to pack snacks or lunches. I also need to add that they were amazing and were able to potty train our girls before they were 2.5 years old! Best preschool in the east bay.

I've been eyeing this preschool ever since our son was born. Our son has always had the hardest time leaving mom and dad's side. The moment we stepped into this school for a tour all the reviews that I read prior lived up to its expectation. They are so good with our son. He's still trying to get used to being dropped off but Miss Jennifer or any other staff who sees him crying as we walk in for drop off will take him into their arms to help with the transition. I have total trust in Miss Colleen and the entire staff and my husband and I appreciate them so much.

I would give this school 0 star if I could. This school is untrustworthy! I had toured the school couple times, completed all required documents and paid $100 fee to make sure we would have a spot for 2023-2024 school year. Before the new school year started, I emailed the director, asked when to go to school, the director said one teacher left and they were trying to hire a new teacher, asked us to wait, no apology at all. After three weeks, I called the school again, they were still saying we have to wait until they got a new teacher, and they would call me back and enroll my kid. Now, a month and half passed, I never received a call or an email from them. I checked their website, guess what, they already hired a new teacher! But didn't tell us and enroll my kid! so I toured many other preschools and there are long waiting list to get in! I have to quit my job and stay home with my kid! They RUIN my whole schedule!! If they have a shortage of teachers, shouldn't they give a notice ahead of time? How can they just TELLING you right before the school starts! And they already hired a new teacher, why didn't enroll my kid cause he is not full time? OMG! So disgusting and disappointing!

This is a fantastic pre-school led by caring, responsive, and attentive staff. There was almost zero turnover in teachers during the 3 years my children attended.

Ms. Amy was my son's preschool teacher when he was in the 4's preschool class. I liked the small class size. My son learned to write and literacy was cultivated in this classroom, too. Also, she taught all the basic rules taught in Preschool and Kindergarten: some that I recall now are sharing, taking turns, helping, table manners, washing hands, sneezing into your elbow instead of on your hands. The regular daily schedule was wonderful for the children who need to know what to expect during the day. My son loved it and so did I!
