I can't speak highly enough of Dr. Griffin and the veterinary tech staff at SAGE Concord. We were directed by our local vet to have our 14 year old pitty looked at by a specialist for a potential spinal or neurological issue - they did such a wonderful job taking care of her and helping us to feel at ease during her treatment; options were carefully explained and questions readily answered. The documentation provided to support after care was thorough and easy to understand, and I loved that the overnight nurse caring for our pup during her hospital recovery sent us pics to show us how she was doing. For expert companion animal care, I would definitely return to SAGE and would recommend them.

I recently had an emergency with my husky, that she needed an emergency surgery that if not done soon it could've been life threatening. The Sage employees took amazing care of her and made sure her surgery was done ASAP. During this scary period, where I felt vulnerable because there was nothing I could do for my baby, they made me feel like I didn't need to worry because they got her, and they did. She was able to come home and is still recovering but she is out of any danger now. So thank you everyone at Sage for healing my baby which allowed me to take her home.

Took my baby boy in for tummy issues (diarrhea with blood). The team was so kind and helpful, while still being knowledgeable and efficient! They were honest but reassuring. It was just a great experience. Would recommend to anyone having a pet emergency, especially after hours!

The Cardiologist at the Sage in Concord displayed empathy, expertise, and warmth interacting with my dog and me. She conveyed complex health information with clarity and welcomed my questions. The Vet Tech and front desk personnel were also caring and friendly. It made a stressful appointment so much easier to navigate, and I felt confident my dog was receiving skilled care that will help her live a longer and healthier life.

Sage veterinarians and staff are very caring people. My cat has multiple health conditions and they take excellent care of him. You would never know he was sick and he continues to live a happy life thanks to Sage.

I used the Sage emergency services for my dog. I was very worried and they were empathetic and straight forward with the treatment plan and cost. They got her feeling better and the cost ended up being less than projected. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

My Cavalier King Charles spaniel dislocated his hip, twice!!! They were compassionate, personable yet very professional. My pup bit me when he was in acute pain. They cleaned up the bits, dressed the wound.
Both doctors were great.
I’d go there again if I need specialty care. We saw Dr Akeins and Dr Beverley

Dr. Beverly saw my older dog for some mysterious symptoms, collapsing and lack of coordination. Many of the tests weren’t explaining the symptoms and Dr. Beverly carefully reviewed all of my dog’s lab work. Eventually he got a consultation with the in-house neurologist to get a diagnosis.
My experience at Sage was overall very good. I’m grateful their ER services are available when my regular vet wasn’t sure what was going on for my dear furry family.
