If I could do zero stars, I would I went to the deli. No one was in line I stood in front of the Deli Case to order a sandwich. The girl told me I'll be right with you in a minute walked off went to go do something in the back came back out how can I help you told I want to order a sandwich and she tells me you have to get in line but I looked at the line all of a sudden there was 12 people in line and when I walked up waiting for her there was no one in line. I told her there was no line when I came And the deli is over here over. There is like the sushi area and she goes. Yeah you have to wait in line 1st and I'm like you saw me here and she acknowledges that I was there before all of those people, but she still would not help me not to be racist, but she belongs in the back. She barely even spoke English also.

We go to this Safeway a lot and usually the customer service is hit or miss. Mostly sales associates are great but today was different. The sales clerk was so hard focused on his conversation with a clerk that was bagging our groceries. The clerk bagging our groceries acknowledged us hence the 3 stars. I don't even know how much I spent on groceries because like I said his conversation was very important than the customer in front of him but yet acknowledge the customer behind us... although there was a lack in customer service, we found everything we needed.

We've tried the groceries delivery service 3 different times, each time something was wrong... we've gone to online ordering groceries and picking them up, a bit better, but not by much, seems there's always something not available, or the order is wrong, or some items retrieved are overly ripe, poorly packaged, etc. maybe time for a change...

The safeway deli us never ready before 9 am I ask the woman in charge today January 23 2024 what time the chicken wings would be ready and she said 12 noon I said 12 noon and she reply o well maybe at 10;30 am as far as I know business are ready to do business as soon. As they open doors at 12 noon there is a big line sometimes in the deli department I think the should post the time when the deli is open on the add so people don't assume that this is a regular business like any other that when the open means is oooopen por business

This Safeway is decent and has a good selection, but if there is a sale going on for wet cat food, be careful at any Safeway, because I am not always given the sale prices when wet cat food is on sale. If you try to do returns, you don't get all of your money back, you only get most of your money back. In addition, I think the security does their best, but I Think at nighttime, I think only one side of doors should be left unlocked to lesson the chance of theft.

Never had a worse experience at a grocery store. Store is a huge mess, hard to find anything, near impossible. Staff was unfriendly and straight up unhelpful about finding things. I was just sent looking for things in the wrong location twice. Until it became clear they don’t even have what I’m looking for. For how pricey the store is you certainly expect much more. Also, they lock up certain alcohol items, fine, but then don’t even let you put it in your cart and treat you like YOU’RE the one inconveniencing them for needing them to come unlock it. I certainly won’t be returning to this store ever again.

Been coming here weekly for a couple years now.. Safeway staff is cool friendly and helpful. There's not a big selection of whole cuts of beef unfortunately.. Can find items on the Safeway app, but not in store.. The security act like Gestapo at this store and will follow you around acting power tripped rather than what they are. Rent-A-Cops. Also I won't buy Sushi since it isn't $5 anymore on fridays.. bought it every friday, but not anymore.

My grandma insisted that I make this review simply because the tall security guard is always so nice to her! Thanks for being courteous and making us feel safe! I only ever come here when I visit my grandma and it does look like it's been cleaned up a bit. Don't see any homeless waiting for us outside anymore.

I stoped going here but I'm glad I gave this place a second chance! The place has really cleaned up and I'm convinced it's because of the new security Safeway has hired. Recently The other day I saw this homeless looking man load up with all sorts of goods and try to walk out until he was stoped by this tall bearded security guard with a vest and all. I honestly was afraid that it might turn into a fight consider how loud and aggressive the homeless guy was but the guard said something and waved his hands around and suddenly this homeless guy was a completely different person. He gave up all his items to the guard and just left. The guard walk out with him and came back with two bottles of alcohol. Maybe I don't pay enough attention but this was impressive and I could see why this safeway has really cleaned up. Great job to safeway for upping your security and hiring people that know what they are doing!

So I went to this Safeway 07/31/23 at approximately 8:45 pm on Willow Pass to use the DMV renewal machine inside. If you read my other review on the location in Bay Point, I am not a fan but went in open minded. I used the left double doors, went inside, turned right and found someone on the machine. I needed orange juice and a few small items so I decided to shop and then go back after paying as it was adjacent to the self scan. After paying for my items, there were 2 people now on the DMV machine. I patiently waited and another 15 minutes later I conducted my transaction and head towards the same door that I came in. Yes, I acknowledge there was an empty cart in the pathway next to the Self Checkout and she did not stop me and in fact said goodbye when I walked past her and the cart. When I got to the door, it would not open. I paused for a sec and thought there was a malfunction and began to look for a sign. Suddenly a male uniformed guard yelled "Sir, Sir" and something I did not hear. He walked up on me and in a strong tone said the door was locked. I exclaimed back "a little early isn't it? " He loudly said "we always close these at 9pm" and got close to me and peered in my blue shopping bag. I said thank you and walked to the opposite doors. The female was very nice and said thank you. This was approximately 915 pm and I was wearing a gym shirt, carrying a blue canvas bag and orange juice if Safeway wants to validate the incident. I do see what has been happening around the bay area with organized retail theft but why would it be necessary to yell at someone at a locked door? And then scolded because I did not know the policy about closing it at 9pm? And by the way, a sign would have helped! I gave one star back because the store was organized and the female guard and self checkout attendant were nice.

They cleanliness and organization of the store are top notch I always find it I'll go maintain a neatly rain for concerns but pleasant shopping experience to start out is intuitive making it effortless to find what I need . Safeway's load to program the liquid by accident savings and rewards I'll look forward to explore the latest deals and discounts we should save more money while purchasing high quality products. Simply restore that has earned my unwavering order it's impressive selection outstanding customer service dedication. I do enjoy shopping at Safeway on a daily basis

Just went to this Safeway location and pulled up to a security guard who watched me go in. She chased me down after I walked in and made me leave my reusable bag up front while I shopped. ( I only brought in one and it was folded. ) How petty, unprofessional, and lacking any common sense. Especially when she watched me pull up in a 110K car.I promise Safeway / Kroger lost a lot more money from my future business than from any $3 items they passively accused me of trying to steal.Will take my business elsewhere.
