My one-stop shop for all of my running needs. Today was my first time purchasing their insoles. I usually get insoles through my podiatrist. Thanks Steve for a great experience!

We drove far to come to this store for the personal touch to find the right shoe for track. Unfortunately, the sales people were not knowledgable about the footwear and just pointed us in the direction to find the shoes instead of offering assistance. We ended up buying elsewhere.

After I tried on a pair of Hokas in-store I asked the associate Stephanie to ship me a new pair as the pair I had tried on was the display. They sent me the same pair I tried on via mail like I wouldn't notice. The shoes left Concord and I turned them over when they arrived (bottoms were dusty grey) and the customer service rep confirmed they were shipped from the concord store. Careful with the VIP member deal as they'll muscle you to get it at the very end of your purchase and don't explain that the introduction fee and the yearly fee are different prices. I had to call customer service to cancel and they even tried to pull the wool over my eyes when I cancelled. I had to spell it out that I wanted to walk away and have them delete my information for renewal. If they charge me I will dispute with my bank. This is so much effort, avoid and try on shoes elsewhere if you can. Luckily I had ordered the same pair of Hokas from Nordstrom because I had a bad feeling. And what do ya know... arrive BRAND NEW. AVOID!

The management style of this company is extremely poor. 3 employees standing around while you're waiting 15 minutes for "your turn" to be assigned a sales person. Sales person tried to steer my husband to a stability shoe without even determining the best type for him You can determine a little bit just by checking the soles of their shoes for wear pattern. This is similar to the "time share "model. Every purchaser is recommended a custom insole of course at additional cost. Their membership gives you $10 off shoes, Once you get to look at a pair of course they don't have it in stock.

My recent experience at Road Runner Sports in Concord, CA surpassed all expectations! From the moment my sister and I stepped through the door , we were warmly welcomed and provided outstanding customer service. A huge shout to Berto, whose assistance was invaluable in helping us find the perfect running shoes. His politeness, patience, and extensive knowledge truly made the difference. Despite the numerous pairs of shoes he had to present, Berto maintained his "service with a smile" demeanor. Thanks to him, we are now devoted customers for life!

I am really bummed to be writing this bad review. I have a 10K to run this weekend and it has given me the courage and motivation to try to run a half marathon in the coming months! It's been on my bucket list for years now, and I finally feel like I am at a place physically and mentally where I can do it! I felt that I needed to invest in some good running shoes, so I immediately thought of Roadrunner Sports! I visited the Concord location several years ago and thought it would be great to get fitted for shoes again. I was really looking forward to coming to get fitted for shoes and was planning on buying shoes, insoles, socks, and anything else they recommended in order for me to achieve this bucket list goal of mine. The moment I walked in Estefania approached me with an abrupt greeting. In the first 60 seconds of our interaction, I could tell that she wasn't happy to be there and it made me also not happy to be there. I almost thought about asking for another associate but everyone else seemed to be busy at the register or with another customer. I figured maybe she was having a bad day or needed some time to warm up so I tried to make some conversation with her about running, shoes, etc. like I was the one trying to sell her. But, she was sticking to her script of questions she needed to ask me, to the point where she seemed annoyed when I "interrupted" her spiel. I understand being professional, but she was being borderline rude and it made me question why she would choose a sales role if she wasn't going to at least be enthusiastic about what she's selling or act like she cared about her customer. She went to ring somebody else up at the register, and I was waiting there for probably about five minutes needing to have questions answered about the shoes I was given to try on. I had also asked for a larger size and she hadn't brought them yet. I saw another sales associate giving her customer more detailed information about her shoe choices, let her try them on the treadmills they have, etc. I ended up asking her if Estefania is always this abrupt and borderline rude. I was shocked to find out Estefania is a manager there. I understand you might be busy, but you don't need to treat a nice customer badly that is there to buy $180 shoes. After waiting a few more minutes with no help I decided to walk out. I was really bummed that this interaction took all of the joy out of me finding a new pair of shoes to reach this goal of mine.

Tessa was a pleasure to work with today, she helped me figure out my correct shoe size and best fit and I ended up investing in two pairs of running shoes and 6 pairs of compression socks. I'll definitely be coming back and highly recommend you visiting RR Sports, they will take good care of you!

I'm leaving this review for one of the employees. Tessa was fantastic to work with. I was hesitant to try Road Runner because people have told me that they can be pushy with customers. That was the opposite of my experience today. Tessa was super friendly and NOT pushy in the least. We didn't end up making a purchase today because the color I wanted wasn't available. But thank you for the help, Tessa!

Hands down worst running shoe store I've been. Sales girl had no idea what the difference between models were. I found more information searching websites. Found shoes I wanted but went to Fleet Feet.where gait analysis was done by a PT.

This was my first time shopping at Road Runner and Jocelin was the one who assisted me and she was AMAZING! She listened to my needs in the shoes I was looking for and did great finding ones that matched my needs. I was able to purchase new work shoes, new cardio shoes and two pairs of insoles. Jocelin is super helpful, professional and patient.

Enrique was very helpful and nice. We appreciated that he did not try to sell us on the shoes, just provided good info on what would be the best fit for our needs.

We tried to be there when RR opened. We got there about 10:30am on a Sat. We did not have to wait long, just long enough for our inserts to get warm. There were 3 gentleman working and all were very helpful. I bought T. Shoes, inserts and socks. The dry socks are awesome. I had them check the last time I bought my inserts to see how long they lasted. (I did need new ones) I’m a teacher, I wear them everyday. I purchased Feb 2023 and returned Dec 2023. Not bad :)

I came to Road Runner Sports to purchase ASICS Gel-Kayano 30 for my mom. They put a pair behind the counter for me and I really appreciate that. A worker named Travis helped me buy the shoes and even got me signed up for some sweet rewards. He's super helpful. I would come here again.
