“I had a wonderful experience at Golden State Lumber's Concord location. I talked to Mr. Kevin Matteri before arriving, communicating about an Eagle Project I was working on, and he was very helpful as soon as I arrived. He was friendly and took me to look at many kinds of wood to see which one would work best for my project. His suggestions were useful and he even helped me pick out the right screws for the wood I wanted to use. He was extremely generous with his donation for my Eagle Project and was kind throughout the entire process. I greatly appreciate his help and would like to thank him for his excellent customer service. I would also like to thank an employee who was very helpful in cutting the wood to the sizes I wanted. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask his name but he was very deliberate and took his time cutting the wood to the precise measurements even though they were close to closing time. He was also very patient and he did not seem to mind helping us out, which I greatly appreciated. “I love J&M. They have every fastener you could ever need, and they are incredibly helpful. They were a key partner during our build out of a tiny house on wheels -- something I had never done before. There were dozens of times when we had no clue what bolt or screw was needed for the stage we were at. But Justin and the crew always helped me find just the right thing -- even when I didn't know what it was called! They have a great inventory, and I love that they also carry premium drill bits and Diablo saw blades. If you need any sort of fastener, I'd go here before ever heading to a general hardware store. Below are some pictures of the tiny house on wheels that we built with 30 female high school students. J&M's fasteners were used in EVERY piece of the construction, and we're so thankful to have them as a partner.”

“The listing here on Google Maps has the closing time at 5pm got there at 4:40 and noticed that the actual close time is 4:30. Asked the staff that were still there if I could get some help and they were very understanding. They did help me out, but I hope the time online would change so this doesn't happen to someone else in the future. I felt a little bad for bothering them after they were starting to close but they were awesome and very friendly.”

“Today we needed some blinds cut and were waiting for quite some time along with two other people. Stephen found us and although he could not cut them himself he stayed nearby, spoke with other associates, and made several announcements to help us. We were very grateful to him and credit him with managing to finally get someone over after an over 20min wait. With his help, we had 3 people arrive and we were on our way to checkout within a minute.”

“We are trying to buy some room divider door's and Eddie has been fantastic. We can't get any help for the next step in the process, we paid a deposit and then basically ghosted. We went back to the store and once again Eddie was great, he made several phone calls to different people while we sat there and he also introduced us to a gentleman who is part of the next step and still nothing. Eddie is doing everything he can we think he's great but the team around him is no help”
“Rush hour (just after work) is pretty crazy here, but not too bad outside of peak hours. Had an awesome experience getting stain tinted. Lee was super nice and helpful, very experienced, and she showed me some of the codes on the stain computer to ensure I was getting the same tint. Highly impressed with her customer service and knowledge.”

“I wasn't expecting to review Home Depot. But my last interaction I just wanted to share as it really was amazing. Customer service on multiple levels. It had been sometimes since I use my Home Depot card and that was not an option while I was shopping online. I did reach out to the customer service line and the gentleman was very helpful pleasant Was able to find me easily and we had a wonderful discussion. I added a fairly significantly priced item to my order at that time mainly because I just felt comfortable. Customer Service on the phone call was above and beyond. Now I had set both of my orders it had to be split, because the large one was coming from a different warehouse For delivery. A smaller order of some galvanized roofing material and a couple other things I set up for delivery. It was easy it was very inexpensive and it was at my house before I woke up look I've got access to trucks if I ask, I do have a utility trailer. It's kind of a pain in the you know what to hook up and get down there and get back home absolutely, wonderful experience with that delivery now I am able to jump to work first thing this morning with everything that I need. I will continue to shop at Home Depot. Thank you for the great service.”
