Very disappointed by this location and their policy. Extremely misleading branding and information!!!
I went to donate a perfectly good couch, only because I got a new one. The couch is in almost perfect shape with the exception of 2 small tears, on the bottom of 2 of the pillows, the size of a quarter. They refused to take it because they DON'T restore donations.
Said otherwise, they want brand new stuff so they can make a profit.

I called ahead to drop off a queen bed frame and they said it's fine never mentioned it had to be on "pristine" condition. I drive from Antioch and the asian sergeant handling the actual donations said they can't take it because it had a couple of nicks and dust. She said it has to look perfect because they have to be able to put it right out. She said the people that answer the phones are volunteering and don't necessarily know how it works. Why have them answering questions about donating?!!. Poor customer service by all.

I do like the way they have set their merchandise, very nice showroom. I do not like that they remove the light bulb when you purchase a lamp. Geez!

The new store is not worth going to. Just a used furniture store. Not like when it was on Monument. At least at the old place you could find deals. This new place is overpriced garbage.

Ive been shopping at this Concord store since it was on Monument Blvd., but I love the new location! I get everything from paint to furniture here at the Concord store. Most recently, I found a set of vintage bedroom dressers that were selling on Etsy and EBay for well over 1k each. I told the employees about the discrepancy between their cheap price and what they could get. Yet they ensured me that this cheaper price would benefit me and that was more important. The sales people literally scoured the store to find even more parts to the set. I was blown away by the service. The Employees are 100% the best part of this business at the Concord location. From the lady on the floor (I wish I got their names!!) to the young men in the warehouse in back who loaded our truck. They were thoughtful and kind and very deserving of a compliment and commendation.

First time at Habitat for Humanity ReStores, a non-profit organization that helps people in need build new houses. I always wanted to volunteer for Habitat for Humanity but never got the chance.Habitat for Humanity ReStores is perfect for anyone who wants to remodel their home but lacks the funding. Most of the products here are donated and are super affordable. The money or "so-called profits" goes back to helping the organization. Win-win! Ok I'm tired. Go check them out when you get the chance.

I used to love this place in the old location. Was it pretty? No. Was it a treasure hunt? Yes. Also easier to shop imo. You could find all kinds of great random items for home projects, furniture, tools, paint, tiles, etc. including older or used items at a good price. This new place they set up like ikea with many small rooms showcasing items like in a house, but tbh it just feels like a big maze and doesn't make me want to buy anything at all. It's much easier to have products grouped together to shop/measure/compare next to each other vs. the room set up. I think in theory it's more organized, but it feels off. I wish they left it open as one big room or only a few breakout rooms if they really couldn't let that idea go (ie one for dressers, one for couches and seating, bathroom vanities/sinks, etc). I think the merchandising actually makes it less shop-able and enticing. Merchandising isn't necessarily all about being attractive, it's about making it easy to navigate, easy to shop, and accessible for everyone. The prices are also insane now. $700 for a bathroom vanity, $145 for a small/medium mirror that is very basic, etc. The whole vibe and price point of this place has changed, and not for the better imo. I hope they will re-think the layout. The staff is great though, no stars off for them.

First time here. Lots of furniture. Not sure if the prices are comparable to furniture stores.

Sold me a broken 3D printer and wouldn’t honor the websites return policy from their own site specific to this location. I understand that they have a 14 day policy also, but therein lies the problem. It is conflicting information. They could have worked with me and chose not to and don’t care that the information on their site is incorrect and is different than the information in store. I elect for electronic receipts and I was TWO DAYS outside of the return window on the receipt in my email when I looked at it in store. I hadn’t bothered to look earlier because the website said 30 days.Poor customer service is an understatement. If I just changed my mind it would have been one thing, but it’s broken. She refused to budge and just kept talking about the signs in store with an attitude. No attempt to help at all.She said I should have tested it right away, but it was a gift for my son so I didn’t.Won’t be buying from them again. What a complete waste of time and money.

I'm with a local nonprofit www.ccichope.org We turn to Habitat ReStore for excellent prices on metal bed frames when we don't have enough donated frames to meet needs.

This store is even better in their new location. I like their gently used furniture, paint supplies, tools, light fixtures and appliances. Was there today and the manager, Jonathon, really was helpful.

Not at all like a thrift store. More like a consignment store with high prices. And I miss the leftover construction type stuff (pipes, trim, tools, hardware, etc.) Guess I have to go to Oakland to get the real deal (literally!).
