I've come here 3 times during their drop off hours and been turned away be employees that don't want to do their jobs

Prices DOUBLED at register?!?
Beware of arbitrary price changes by cashier at the register. Literally doubled the price of my clothing selections off the rack. Cashier decided that the clothing wasn’t priced correctly per the signs.
Seems fraudulent to me. Then denied me a manager manager request. What is going on with this place!?!

I just dropped off about 6 bags of clothes, blankets, and school supplies at 2pm, which is when they stop accepting donations. Rather than being made to feel bad for keeping someone late or being asked to come back tomorrow, I was greeted by a gentleman saying, "Welcome to Goodwill. Thank you so much for your donation!" He continued to be very kind, gracious, and courteous. What an amazing experience! The whole transaction lasted less than 2 minutes, but the impression this gentleman made on me will last a very long time.

4 stars for the staff, the cleanliness and the ample selection of items. Zero stars for the increasing greed of Goodwill and their executives. $9.99 for a women's plain long sleeve t shirt is ridiculous and not what Goodwill is here for. It is no longer an affordable option for families in need. We can find cheaper clothing items online or for sale at other stores. And please don't comment that our shopping leads to jobs and counseling etc. Each clothing item needs to be reduced by a few dollars in order for Goodwill to be affordable for our community again.

Wide selection of clothing and videos. Not much by way of home goods. Helpful store team. Donations staff are wanting.

This Goodwill store I've dubbed the "TREASURE TROVE"! Not only do they get the best donations and used treasures, it's neat and clean and the employees are all really helpful and friendly!! And their prices are usually pretty reasonable unlike other thrift shops who seem to think they are antique stores or high end boutiques. Don't let nit picky ratings stop you from going!! I'm there all the time because it's the thrill of the hunt and like looking for buried treasure. I very rarely leave empty handed! It's just simply the best! God bless them!!

Every time I visit Goodwill Concord I find stylish, choice buys in their women’s clothing. My daughter is a model and she hits this store first since she has found great pieces to add to her photo shoots. Clean establishment, always friendly staff.

I'm a frequent shopper here at this goodwill because of just how nice the staff is here. I always feel very welcome. But what chaps my hide is when I hear the short latin woman yelling at her coworkers. She must be the boss or something. Because talking down to your coworkers in front of customers is not cool. She's a horrible team leader.

I went to donate some clothing and they we're standing do nothing and they told me that you need to come back when we are not busy. I clearly saw both employees doing nothing and asked if they can only take them since I came from Walnut Creek and they told me no. Very poor customer experience.

I loved. One of my regular visits when there is one nearby. Apart from having lots and lots of clothes, there are toys and books. Decoration art, earthenware. I could say a little of everything. And they are also stores that allocate their profits to charity.

The Goodwill Stores used to be so much better, they are over priced on some items, they have many rude untrained employees and they don't help the needy like the salvation army does. Goodwill use to have a lot of quality items but in the last year, every Goodwill in Concord and Pittsburg CA and many many other cities have alot of junk now. On the shelves, there are broken items as well as items with missing pieces for sale that should be thrown in the garbage.
You try to find some good buys and its a waste of time even stepping foot in a lot of these stores now. Its been very disappointing. There's rude employees that aren't helpful and have zero people skills, they have no idea what good customer service is about.
I get that the Goodwill Corporation gives 2nd chances to people who have been in jail and prison, by hiring them to work for Goodwill, but there needs to be a whole lot more training so customer service is number one and so these employees take pride in their jobs.
A very very big issue is that there are a lot of employees that call their friends or relatives to come in to purchase items that have not been put out on the floor yet, so most of the good items, clothing, handbags etc are being purchased by employees through friends or family while the public doesn't have a chance to buy any of that. There needs to be cameras at Goodwill in the back rooms and donation areas as well as inside the stores to keep the honest people honest.
Management in corporate needs to figure out how to stop these employees from getting all the good items because Goodwill is junky now.
Salvation Army doesn't have the same employee pool so the stores are neat organized and never have broken items or items with missing pieces like most of Goodwills do now.
