I was so impressed with how professional my sales clerk was and the ease of communicating to him what I wanted and what I was actually ordering from Dolan's. My materials were delivered the next morning ahead of schedule, perfectly placed for expediency! Great experience working with this company!

This review is based on customer service.Today, I unfortunately got a flat tire and the nearest spot was Dolans Lumber. I pulled over and immediately went inside to tell them I got a flat and had to park there until a tow came. It was 5pm and they close at 5:30pm. I was blown away by their response. I spoke to the 2 front lady’s in front and they could see I was having an anxiety attack. They immediately comforted me and told me to grab a water from their fridge and they would have the guys move my car to the gas station if my tow did not arrive before they closed.The entire team was so amazing. I am speechless at how comforting and helpful they were to a complete stranger. We are currently in the beginning stage of a home remodel, and I will now be a new customer. I am so thankful for this entire team. Little do we know, our thoughtfulness and kindness can make such a difference in someone’s life. Their response to my situation has now gotten them a customer. From the bottom of my heart, Thank you. This is an amazing team and I can’t wait to work with them.

Solid selection of tools, fasteners, lumber, doors. Service counter is well-staffed, and yard guys are helpful. Prices are reasonable. Solid choice for professionals and DIYers.

Jon and Keanu came to our home to check out our 23 yr old Anderson doors as some were not locking well. This team is fabulous!! They got right to work and adjusted our doors. They explained things clearly. We thought we would have to buy a couple of doors but these two men were able to fix them.I highly recommend the team at Dolan's!!!

Dolan Lumber has a department that services their products. We have 17 year old French doors and I wanted them check. They are busy but I waited for an appointment for 3 weeks and it was worth every day I waited. They sent out two technicians that worked very well together - Jon and Keanu. A+++ for customer services and they were so efficient fine tuning my doors so they close and lock smoothly. They even had a part I needed for a handle mechanism. I highly recommend Dolan Lumber. Thank you thank you!

Frank Vasquez was very helpful, polite, knowledgeable, and patient. Right, when we walked in he immediately offered his customer service. Went in to get a quote to install a composite deck and Frank was absolutely amazing. We look forward to doing business with Dolan's and our guy Frank.

Recently ordered new windows and sliders through Dolans and Rich was amazing to work with . Every time I go in he remembers me and greets me warmly . Whatever the building materials, Dolans has you covered . They also are competitive on their pricing which helps in todays hard economic times .Great service ! Great pricing ! They deliver !

The team at Dolan's is awesome. We have had parts in our windows that need replacement for some time and finally got around to going to the Lafayette shop on a Saturday. They had to refer me to Concord for help with the parts as they aren't expert here. Okay, finally made my way on a Friday to the shop. After a quick chat there, they referred me around the corner to the service office. Laura was super helpful and I walked out with the replacement parts. She sent us YouTube videos for the installation. I appreciate that they didn't push to use their person for the install probably because they are backlogged into December. These folks are knowledgeable and easy to work with. Try to find someone to help you readily in one of those big box stores. Support the local businesses!

Last December I purchased windows and doors from Dolan's for my new addition. If I had to write a review 6 to 8 months ago, I probably would have give them one star with a bad review. Windows and doors were going to take 7 to 9 months, instead of three months originally promised, with no communication on when, where and if. Months of frustration, contractor complaining for delays, etc. I thought Dolan's was bad company.Was I ever wrong! I realized that after we attempted to contact the manufacturer with little luck and very rude communications back. I then researched the manufacturer and found that they make great products (that is why Dolan's carries them) but are terrible in customer relations, across the board to all customers and their reps; everybody got equally bad treatment, period!I can not tell you all enough about how hard Dolan's tried to help. From delivery staff to VPs to owners; they went out of their ways to help. I realized how polite and diligent they were at all levels trying to communicate to us while the manufacturer was outright ignoring it all. They did everything above and beyond expectations. They even installed two of the very difficult to install windows, which the contractor couldn't install. They are extremely professional, competent, polite, and cordial. I always bought my quality and custom-cut lumber from Dolan's. Now I will buy all my construction needs from them. I would also not hesitate a bit to use them to install anything.Great company, great business, and most importantly, wonderful people.
