I’ve been taking my dog here for about 5 months now since moving to Concord and I have to say this is the best doggy day care I’ve ever taken him to. Despite having 40-60 days a day (on weekdays), Melissa and her colleagues remembered my dog’s name after just one visit! When I pick him up, they usually provide me with an update on who he’s played with and how he did that day. Also, Melissa helped me today with removing a tick off my dog, which I was grateful for! These people know their stuff! Love this place!

My dog loved staying here. Definitely a great place to board your pet. The Checkin/out hours are a bit different but they were still convenient for me.

I LOVE this place! Most importantly my dog loves this place! I was so impressed with how I can tell that the owners love what they do and pay such close attention to all dogs under their care. You can tell that they really care and get to know each dog. As an owner of a pure bred cane corso, I really appreciate their ability to lead the dogs, read dog body language, and manage all the dogs. The biggest thing that impressed me about them was when I came back to pick up my Corso, she was walked up to me off leash and behind the gentleman. I've only seen her do that we me as she pulls everyone else like a lead sled dog. I really appreciate all of the attention and care that they give and they both are genuinely excited to see my dog when I drop her off. I've recommended her to everyone who is looking for doggie day care or boarding.Thanks for everything!

This review is long overdue but this most recent experience with Dogs Will Play absolutely deserves a review at the very least. I cannot thank them enough for all they do for our Laila Bear. We had to go out of town and the day after we dropped her off, we were told she was not feeling well. The staff offered to take her to their vet but we were able to make arrangements for Laila to get the meds she needed through our vet. The staff at Dogs Will Play ensured our baby felt better, played with her separately until she felt better enough to re-join the group, and bathed her before we picked her up. I called twice a day while we were gone and each time they gave me a detailed update as to how Laila was doing and posted pictures of her on their Instagram. They truly took such incredible care for her the week we were gone. I seriously cannot thank them enough for all they do and am so grateful for their love and care for our fur baby.

Our doggie used to play here and sometimes we would also board him when we were out of town but he was rejected recently because the new gal said that he was aggressive. Maybe he thought you were the vet or maybe he just didn’t like the way you looked in a hoodie but whatever the reason he was a regular until recently. It was very inconvenient because we were going on vacation and we’re forced to look for an alternative at the last minute! Thanks a lot Dogs Will Play. There are plenty of better options for our little one.

Good luck if you have an incident happen at this facility. I talked with the manager over a month ago and still have not received an email and/or call back from the facility.

I would stay away from this place in the future. My dog was involved in an incident over a month ago where my dog did not receive any medical treatment nor a trip to the ER. I took my dog to the ER myself after picking him up. Employees stated that they didn't even notice he had 3 BITE MARKS ON HIM and he was with them for about 3 1/2 days. The manager, Julie, reached out to me about a week after it happened and I still have no received a call or email back on an update. During my conversation, she states that there was obviously miscommunication with what she told them and what they told me in turn, and she would get to the bottom of it. It's been over a month now and nothing. I've reached out and nothing. I wish I read deeper into the reviews since apparently a dog died here in their care.

This is hands down the best daycare/place to board my dog I have found. I've been taking my dog here for more than a year now. They really care about the animals and it shows. My dog is always happy and worn out when I pick him up. I love the stories I get about what he did and who he played with. When I had surgery they were super accommodating and helpful. When I couldn't physically take care of my dog, they gave me a place I could take him, where I knew he was safe and taken care of, and I am extremely greatful. If anyone from Dog Will Play reads this, thank you. ?

Such a wonderful place, I can’t say enough nice things about Dogs Will Play. The staff are so friendly and happy. The facilities are clean and plenty of space for dogs to play. We have an energetic GSP and he LOVES going to dogs will play. When we drop him off he is so excited and runs right back to see his friends, and never looks back to say goodbye. He always comes home happy and tired.

I took my big dog there for the day. The webcam showed the dogs all just standing around in in a room very very crowded with dogs. A bored young person was wandering around listlessly. It didn't look healthy or fun for my dog. The dogs p*** in the same room they are standing in. Yuck. They said they have rest time when they take the dogs out and clean the floors which is a point in their favor. It's a franchise. This is not a real kennel but more of a big empty warehouse space divided up into rooms with partitions based on dog size. I would say that they probably keep the dogs safe but it is more like a holding pen than a play space. There are just too many dogs in too small of a space. They don't don't interact with each other much. There was no running or wrestling or chasing like you would normally see at a kennel. I guess that's because of the crowding. Must be a dog thing when not enough space. I got my dog back at the end of the day safe and sound so that's good. But I would like to see my dog having fun too.

Our fur baby has been going here since she was a puppy (she's 5 yrs old now) and she's still excited every time we drop her off. She's here at least 3x a week and she loves all the staff. We're so happy to have Dogs Will Play as her home away from home. Very highly recommended ?

Emily, the groomer was the worst. I asked her for specific cut and she just shaved all hair without any consent. They look horrible. Stay away.
