I wanted to give Days Inn Concord CA a try on 2/29/2024, stayed for a funeral. IT WAS THE MOST TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE IVE EVER WITNESSED! The young lady who checked us in was impatient and rude. I opened the door to the room the lock was burned! The room OMG was unsatisfactory! Floor was dirty and filthy in all corners sticky things and holes all over the wall. 2 light fixtures were broken and hanging, coming off the roof. Turned on the floor lamp, it wasn't working. Window was broken, blind was broken too! I felt afraid in there and paranoid if this room was for druggies and homeless. The bed was very light when I laid down to rest the whole bed slided. Very cheap!!!. The pillows was not friendly, took a look at the I side of the pillow case OMG I can't believe what I saw.... and there bug's crawling over both beds. Furniture are old, broken down and haven't been cleaned. I picked up. Bathroom.floor was dirty. I sanitized the room myself!! Needed a shower but was afraid whats the soap dispenser have in store! Smh!! We picked up our and left, went back slept with our relatives. The guy who was at the desk when we walked out wasn't attentive at all. The only friendly people we saw was housekeepers so I told the housekeeper to leave the job and be an Independent Caregiver I will help them, which pays alot more and triple she makes there.
Indian owners of hotels are horrible!! How in the hell Wyndham associate with this hotel?
CHAO!

Rundown area, room was dirty, unidentified fluid on desk, public hairs in bed, no curtain, only loosely closable blinds. Bathroom smelled like urine. Had to call front desk to help with tv.
Front desk staff pleasant and helpful.
Surprised the Wndham name is associated

Great location.
No elevator.
Staff could try a little harder.
Great price but don't expect too much when it comes to kindness and service.
They do what is required.

Great rooms. Close to everything. A little stingy about rooms and extra towels.

Got the room for our son on Christmas Eve. They got in late, and surprise! Not just one cockroach, but FIVE! They couldn't sleep in the bed because they were creeped out by what they'd seen, so slept on top of bed. Since it was late, they didn't think to let the front desk know, and figured all the rooms were infested. They left early never to ever return. Stayed a year ago, and had "bugs" in the same room. No one should pay over $150 for this dump. Do NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! They refused any compensation because they didn't go down to the front desk that night to tell them

Feeling spontaneous and decided to go away for the weekend and connect with one another! Decided to try out this spot in Concord, this area was super low key! I felt safe and the room was really clean I had no complaints on my end. My bf loved this spot too we were both surprised how well kept the rooms were. From the outside it look questionable but inside the room was very spot on and very clean! I was surprised how the room came with cordless chargers on the nightstand which a huge plus for us! Not many hotels have wireless chargers inside the rooms and I've been to fancy hotels too and they didn't have that feature! Overall experience I really enjoyed my stay here and definitely recommend this place if you are in the neighborhood!

The hotel is in a great location, the room is nice, large, very clean. The staff are very kind and helpful and requests for service are fast. I was even e-mailed a list of attractions and things to do at discount prices during our stay. Friendly staff, Overall great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel.

While it is a great location if you're going to go to the Pavilion for a show, the place itself is not that great. There have been some cosmetic upgrades but it needs work. The pool area is very run down, and the pool furniture is definitely showing its age. The room is fine for sleeping but the turntable on the microwave didn't work and the security frame on the television makes it very difficult to use the remote control. There is a free breakfast but the eggs and the sausage were cold, and the bread was stale.Nearby activities: About a 20 minute walk to the Pavilion.Walkability: It's within about a 20 minute walk from the Pavilion. It's also not far from a nearby shopping center with lots of fast food and a CVS.

Chose this place because it was the location I needed for a short stay before a long trip. Big mistake. Cannot recommend at all, zero stars! I wish I had read some of these reviews before I booked, but I actually went to the place first and asked to see a room. Well, they must have shown me the only nice room in the place and I thought it would be okay for two nights. I was very, very wrong. This place was really gross, dirty, noisy, rundown, trashy, and felt unsafe. Much like many other persons experiences as described in these reviews. The people who said they had great stays five-star stays... I think they are reviewing the wrong hotel/ motel because this place was horrid! And when I complained, there were no apologies, and I was ultimately only offered worthless "points" instead of any type of refund. Do not waste your money here. Furthermore do not stay at any Wyndham resorts, as the company on the whole clearly does not give a darn about complaints about this property either. A simple apology and refund of at least one of my nights would have made a happy customer who may have given them a second chance, but they didn't do that, so I will not stay at the Days Inn in Concord or any other Wyndham property ever in the future. I don't continue to give my money to companies that don't give a darn about the customers who give them business. Much better places to stay in Pleasant Hill for just a few more dollars. On my return trip, I stayed at Sonesta Select and it was very comfortable, clean, quiet, and nice 5-night stay.

We had an impatient rude young man check us in…2 of our active credit cards were flagged and refused by their system. Once banks were contacted they had flagged this transaction as fraudulent…says a lot about motel. Couldn’t close shower curtain as the rod was hanging by screws and falling out of wall. Breakfast was not very good…. I think motel 6 would have been a better option
