It an absolute experience! The side variety of useful, unique, price friendly items makes it fairly challenging to not leave without several purchases.

Great service, selection, and the cheapest prices anywhere for good quality household and personal goods. Always a must stop when I am near one of their many Bay Area Daiso stores.

I have never walked out a store this angry, never! I bought 8 dinner plates and the cashier couldn't stop laughing because she couldn't wrap the plates with the paper. She kept laughing and yelling that she needs help, like a little kid. The manger walked over to help and after the manager wrap the plates, they found out the plates were not scanned for the price. Let's do it all over again! The cashier won't stop laughing the whole time. The manager acted she was annoyed because I asked for a shopping bag(, yes, the cashier lagged again). I walked out of the store feeling humiliated and angry. Got it to my car and wrote this review immediately because I want out this behind me but someone need to know about it. I like Daiso but this location provided the worst customer service.

Handicapp door opening would be extremely helpful, it is very difficult to open a door that is heavy while you are in a wheelchair navigating the wheelchair and the door. Not handicap friendly at all!I do have to say that the cashier was friendly and sweet.

My recent visit to Daiso left me with mixed feelings. While I appreciated the wide range of products and affordable prices, I was taken aback by the fact that they only accepted cash payments. In this digital age, it was surprising to find a store that didn't offer card payment options. The variety of items available is impressive, but the inconvenience of having to pay with cash was a drawback for me.

Love the place and merchandise. I’m a mom of 2 kids my baby 10 month old and a 4 year old . So my baby it’s special need baby and I understand as a mom you know baby’s are difficult specially in a super hot summer . We went in to the store to check what we like and buy $59 but when we were in line to pay this lady thin , Latina with dye blond hair started speaking to the other one that we were already there . So I thought maybe they were talking about someone else’s but no , it was about us . The other cashier was helping an Asian girl and of course been polite to her which is ok as it have to be for a good customer service . But the cashier helping us was been so rude with me she was rolling her eyes and even though I was talking to her she just ignore me , only time she spoke to me asked for my id , don’t know why but I just ask , my id? While I manage to go on my knees to handle it to her , but she didn’t take it and continue ignoring me. Then I walked with my baby and left my mom an older person take the bag with all we buy and my mom walk to me but forgot the basket under the cashier desk the same lady bend over from the other side look at my mother with this discriminatory eyesight and I just told her please leave it there I’ll pick it up don’t rush . She just rolled her eyes at me . It felt so wrong to leave my money at a business who treats you so bad . Please train your cashiers !

I have shopped at many Daiso stores even in Japan when I visited I can say all staff are very nice and do a good job but recently I had visited this store and I also encounter a rather rude blonde slim lady who had attitude and I was wondering why is she working there because she’s not the usual norm of staff I agree with previous reviewer Anileme Soza that I experienced a reaction totally uncalled for perhaps management needs to speak to her about her demeanor and representation she is projecting about Daiso … I love shopping at all of their stores no matter what country I’m in and cities I visit I was taken aback…attitude of this one person needs to change

Many items are 200%-300% mark up over other local markets. The staff is very friendly despite long lines from the crowded store. Nice store and nice selection of products, but at a premium.

Good food selection! They had good stock of the best snacking seaweed, rice crackers, and Marukawa gum, among other things.

When you have a lot of kids, you get invited to a lot of birthday parties. I cannot afford to buy extravagant gifts for every 8th, 6th and 3rd grader west of Mt. Diablo. On a whim we came here just check it out and see if we could find a gift for a birthday one of the kids were invited to. It was not a disappointment. You will find perfectly priced gifts for children that will make everyone happy. We went down every aisle. When I say cheap it was like a pile of fun stuff for a girls birthday and the wrapping paper for $15. I found a few things for myself. Like Shrimp Chips. I love Shrimp Chips. They have a decent selection of Japanese goodies. Its a great store. You will find something for whatever you may need for sure.

Love coming to this place. They offer a variety of items to buy. Aisles were a little small, especially when it gets busy. But checkout was a breeze and always great to find unique items here.

It's a Japanese 99 cent store. Some interesting things but a lot of overpriced cheap items. If you're into that sorta thing, this is the place for you.

Okay, I have an obsession with Daiso. Hear me out. Daiso has everything, and I mean everything. Whatever you need, Daiso probably has. You can refer to the price conversion charts posted around the store to find out the price of an item, otherwise items are $1.75 by default if there is no specified price. It doesn't get any better than that.I like to take my time walking through each aisle to see what I can find. There is always something new, so each visit is a fresh experience. I've gotten lots of things from here--mostly organizational stuff, cases, cable management stuff, etc. And with cute designs to! I'm ALWAYS down for cute designs. My only gripe is that this location is smaller than the other locations around the Bay Area, meaning that walking room is tight and the aisles can get kind of cramped. But it's so worth it.
