My family has always had a wonderful experience coming here. We’ve been coming for many years. Everyone is so kind and helpful! We love all of the staff. Especially Sophia such a kind and caring personality! Always recommend this place all of the time.

I've been wearing glasses since I was 11.This is THE worst optometrist I have ever been too... How are you giving people the wrong prescription and then have an attitude about it? Shouldn't you be aware that the wrong prescription can cause eye damage as well... An optometrist?The receptionist seems unbelievably depressed (which I completely understand working there)Nevertheless, dry bedside manner. Rude. In a rush. And the WRONG prescription. How he remains licensed is amazing.Run.

I had great experience with Costco ophthalmologist as I was getting contact lenses. A young doctor did the exam and helped me. Gave me test lenses and observed my vision over a three week period. Outstanding service.Fernando at the vision center helped me to order the contact lenses. Top class customer service. They know what customer service all about.

Today is May 27 noon time I came to pick up my 2 progressive eye glasses Anel who were helping me supposed too it seems she is in a hurry, not a welcoming person. I have never had any optical person like her. It seems she doesn't like what she is doing. If you need help look for Jason or Oni those guys are very welcoming and helpful with a better service.

I have been having a hard time with dry eyes. To the point I always feel like I have something in them. I had a great experience with Rachel Reed. She fixed it by giving me these wonderful eye drops. She listen really well to what you wanted to. Thinking about it in I wish I had did the contact example. She explains things well. I didn't feel like she was just pushing products on me. The eye glass area was awesome to I wish I got the ladies name that helped me.

The doc was great, very pleasant and great during the entire exam. I also found the staff to be nice also. Great prices using costco optical for contacts also.

I always have an easy time here. Some people complain about wait times, which is silly. Unless you go to a private practice, if there are a lot of people in at a time, you have to wait. Get over it. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Eye exams are a breeze and checking out and getting adjustments are simple. Great prices, decent selection on eyewear.

It’s a good store but the only thing that I have a problem with is the gas station they only except cards not money so if you have money u can’t go there even though your a member that’s not right you should be able to use both money and cards not just cards

My husband and I went to Costco in Concord, CA to have an eye exam and to get new glasses. I had just had an eye exam and new glasses just a few months ago at Lens Crafters and had to return several times because the glasses just were not correct. I told them time after time that my vision was not clear but they kept telling me that it takes time to adjust to new glasses. I have worn glasses for over 50 years and it has never taken more than a few days to adjust. This was weeks. So off to Costco I went. The eye doctor there examined my eyes and stated that the prescription was no where close to what it should be for the lenses in my glasses. When I went out to be fitted for frames the person (Susan) that helped me explained everything about how the size of the lenses would affect the way I saw through them. This is something I had questioned at the previous place but it was never explained. With Susan's help I selected two pair of glasses as did my husband. As promised we got a text one week later and picked up our glasses. I couldn't believe but I actually put the glasses on and they were perfect. I could read small print and could actually see distance clearly. That is something I had not been able to do for the last several months. My husband's glasses were equally correct. Thank you Costco!

Rose Stewart optometrist at Costco is rude, has no personality. Very bad experience. At least she should show some caring.

Prices are so much better here and great service. Go check out prices at other places then go to Costco. Costco is half the cost.Other places con you into 2 glasses with extra charges for all the other stuff.

Make sure you order your contacts at least two months ahead of an important event. I ordered mine and it’s been one month already and I still have not received them. I have been calling the Costco Optical department to check up on them and they keep saying the same “it will take 5-7 more days for them to come, we will call you.” I have an Ariana Grande concert tonight and it will be my first concert and I didn’t expect Costco Optical employees to not do their job and I thought I’d have them by now. Now I will only see a singing and dancing blurry blob on stage. Save yourself and order from somewhere else unless you can wait however long they want.

Picked up a pair of sunglasses for my wife for her birthday when they were showing them on the floor. Asked if I would get the floor pair that everybody else is trying on or a new pair in the box. They said new pair in the box. Great! After paying for them, waited with my perishable groceries thawing and warming for nearly 30 minutes as they scrambled around trying to figure out how to fill the order. There they came walking slowly with the floor pair. Well, after waiting that long, decide to get them anyway. Left the store and gave them to my wife to find the $80 pair didn't fold properly. Costco is great about returns, unless you are at the optical department. Then you have to take a number and wait for 45-60 minutes to do a simple return. Well, they rifle through numbers so fast that if you step away for a minute, you lose your spot in line and have to pull a new number. How Costco hasn't figured out a better system with their glasses is ridiculous. Never buying glasses at Costco again.
