I have nothing but Good to say about Mike and the crew at Concrete Exchange. Long story short, I had a sealer problem that Mike warrantied by sending out his crew to remove and re-seal a outdoor kitchen counter. Lot's of work, but now it looks great. I am very grateful and will continue to use the Concrete Exchange for any of my staining, sealing needs.

I purchased some products from Amazon and had some “undeliverable” (damaged packages). I was put in touch with the seller, Concrete Exchange, and they were very helpful at getting the order back on track. I called back for some application tips, and they steered me in the right direction and removed all my anxiety about my project. I’ll skip Amazon in the future and call them directly for their professional grade products and application advice.

Ideal buying experience, with attentive and helpful customer service. I was surprised they offer free shipping on large bags of cement... You don't even get that from Home Depot or Lowe's... Items arrived quickly and well packed. I even received same day assistance correcting a mistake I made in my order. Will definitely purchase from Concrete Exchange again.

I was in the middle of building outdoor kitchen trying to decide what to use for countertop material. After checking with granite places, I stumbled on this store. Ben was extremely helpful and patient. I never built concrete countertop, but guys at this store made this project extremely easy. It is definitely a lot of work, but I am happy with the result. I simply wouldn't be able to complete this project without Ben's help. The customer service is beyond belief. It is almost impossible to find this level of support, especially for DIYers like me. Ben answer every my question, often more than once, patiently and thorough. These guys know their concrete! Highly recommend for any and all of your concrete projects.

This company provided advice for installing concrete floors in my 4500 sqft home. After reviewing their website and trusting their expertise in DIY projects and product selection, I purchased nearly $10,000 worth of products from them. Unfortunately, a few months later, dark patches formed on the concrete and the sealant started blistering. Despite reaching out to the company 12 times for guidance on how to fix the issue, I received only responses attributing it to moisture in the concrete. I also asked multiple times about the safety of an oily substance in my children's rooms due to this problem, but I received no acknowledgment or response. Now, I'm forced to explore alternative solutions to repair the damage caused by their misguided advice and lack of customer support or just general compassion of someone who trusted their recommendations. Moreover, the recommendations two products that are not within the same product manufactures catalog which, according to the instructions, voids the warranty as well. I would never advise using this company due to lack of knowledge, assistance and customer support.

I don’t write a lot of reviews but I had a great customer service experience with these guys so I felt that I had to share. I’m a novice DIY guy and I built a concrete vanity. I bought a sealer from this guys and was struggling with it. We are working together to figure out whether it’s a manufacture’s defect or user error. Regardless, the folks at the Concrete exchange have been great. The answered all my calls, Talked me through the process, worked with the manufacturer, followed up with me like they said, they would, and sent me out a replacement product. they are also super knowledgeable. I can’t remember the last time I got this type of support on anything.

Not many people know I used to be a concrete contractor (1989-2003), and during that time, I learned a lot about structural and decorative concrete. So when I remodeled my house, the obvious choice was to create concrete counters in the kitchen and bathrooms. This was well before concrete counters were a “thing” so I designed my own formula and methodology and built several counters for my own house and others. Then, Fu Tung Chen from Berkeley and Buddy Rhodes in San Francisco set themselves apart as the concrete gurus of the area and I started to follow Cheng since he used so much science in how he approached decorative concrete. The Concrete Exchange in Concord is a retail establishment that also has the Cheng system along with even more options for materials and inspiration. Recently, I built a firepit and bar in my backyard using the Cheng system and they turned out amazing. It’s expensive and very labor intensive but the results are fabulous. The materials are strange if you have previous concrete experience but I think most anyone could figure out how to build concrete parts for your home. This shop will get you sorted with materials. Feel free to call me if you want some general advice as to what to do from there.

I stopped by Concrete Exchange today to get some assistance with a contractor concrete seal job gone wrong. Mike and Ben both made themselves available to help, pulled up the existing coating material properties, reviewed options for fixing the problems and reached out to their distributors to make sure their approach would work and arranged for samples to be shipped to my home to test. All in all I was impressed with their deep product knowledge, personal approach, and great customer service. Highly recommend across the board!
