I called BoxLunch to see if they could put an item on hold for me and I was able to pick it up the next day. I had a previous gift card that was reimbursed for a cancelled online order. This ended up locking the balance of my gift card due to their system. Hailey was so kind to call customer service for me to resolve the issue. Her efforts did not go unnoticed. 3 calls later and being on hold for 20+ minutes, we were finally able to unlock my funds and use my balance for my purchase.Afterwards, we decided to do more shopping. Mariah rang us up and was so patient throughout our transaction, despite the complexity of our situation. Overall, I was very satisfied with my shopping experience during this busy holiday season. Super great store. Has a wide variety of really cute merch. Also the associate working there today was SO KIND!! She helped me find exactly what I was looking for and went out of her way to help me. I wish I got her name but she was AMAZING! Thanks again!!

This store needs a lot of customer service training, they do not honor online prices like other boxlunch locations do. They tend to talk to each other a lot instead of actually helping a customer, my overall experience at this location was horrible and I wouldn't return to this location again.

I would pretty much call this an “anime store,” they have everything from My Neighbor Totoro keychains to Demon Slayer notebooks. The items are pretty overpriced, but buying one or two things can’t hurt. The staff are also pretty friendly, and are willing to help you whenever you need.

Was very disappointed when I visited the sun valley mall location. Spent $150 and some of my items didn't even make it in the bag. Unfortunately because I paid cash I had to travel back across the bridge ($7toll) just to receive my merchandise as they would not ship them to me. Then realized I was overcharged, manager refused to refund me. Told me to contact customer service which was less then helpful. Still no refund. Then realized all my merchandise still had ink security tags still attached. Guess I will have to return just to use the things I purchased. Probably should train staff better, or find better management

Jay and Kat are the absolute best! They go above and beyond for their customers..... Definitely worth the drive to go to a store that you know will treat their customers right very unlike the Newpark mall store

This review is for Jay and Jay alone. Jay went above and beyond for me today as there was a mishap with my order. I was told by the store manager that their policy was to call customers for an online order when it arrives to the shop or when it is the final day for order pick up. However I never received a call when my order arrived to the store nor when it was the final day they were going to hold it. The store manager told me that they called me both times and I told her that they didn't. Jay checked their call logs and behold, they did not call me but by then it was too late and my bag was sold to someone else. Jay worked with me for 45 mins to come to a solution and help me in my situation. Jay showed empathy and true customer service. Jay went above and beyond my expectations. Jay is a stellar employee and I'll be coming in again thanks to their assistance and patience with me today.

One of the places that makes sun valley mall worth going to still. My must hit places are: FYE, boxlunch, and auntie Anne's. This place has a ton of n*** stuff and in a cool way not a patronizing way. The staff and environment feel genuine when they sell you a ghibli shirt or whatever. If you like Disney or anime it's worth going to.
