Nice quiet, clean. Didn’t have what I was looking for.

Honestly I like Barnes and noble but I had a bad experience with the cashier named Fidele J. I’m not sure if they have to meet a quota or what for the “rewards program” but I said multiple times no I don’t want it because I have not really been to Barnes and noble in months, I don’t live near one I don’t need a rewards reprogram. One of the members in my party said they were interested and Fidele J. said to me, “she’s smart, I like her.” Just because don’t want to do some stupid rewards program? Wow

I caught several Foreign spies perusing maps of the US and discussing nefarious plans to hit every 24 hour pancake house in every state in order to judge the winner.

The store was clean, organized, and had really helpful staff. It also has a nice cafe with a decent amount of options for coffee. The only downside is they close at 8 pm. Good place to hit up after you've been to any of the surrounding restaurants.

Staffs are intrusive and impolite. I don’t recommend this place specially if you are with kids.

The staff are not very professional or polite. The selection of books are smaller than other Barnes & Noble places. Kids section is small and crowded.

This place is awful because it doesn't have enough chairs in the bookstore to relax and just read.

Clean, pretty, retail... still remember the huge B&N stores where I spent half the day throughout my school years. Likely left there with a dozen books, a journal I couldn't resist, a new pen(s) and some magazines... just to return the following week for more. Nothing like that now. Seems only the "popular" items survived. Yes, we did run into a wonderful woman who knew the store like her own living room - after much searching. Extraordinary person. We did leave with 2 of the 8 books we arrived to buy - thanks to her. We found none on our own despite the tidy small store. Everything changes. [Except for sharing those over-read hardbacks with friends... great memories continue.] We will still try to purchase in-person before falling back to online shopping for books despite low success rate. Speaking to that lovely, knowledgeable lady made the trip worthwhile.

This is great to have around when I need a book ASAP and can not wait shipping times or waste precious moments searching around for a copy. Plus they offer gift cards which make for great gifts for me to receive! I came here because I got a gift card for my birthday and needed the next book in the series I was reading ASAP. I was ready to switch over to the next book and could not go a few days on the cliff hanger it left me on! B&N to the rescue!

Barnes & Noble is a fantastic place with a wide range of books to choose from, making it a haven for book lovers. I enjoy spending time here with my daughter, especially because they offer activities like storytelling for kids. The availability of chairs throughout the store is a definite plus, allowing us to relax and browse through books comfortably. The BN cafe is also a favorite, providing a cozy atmosphere to enjoy refreshments. The staff members at Barnes & Noble are always friendly and willing to assist customers, which adds to the positive experience. The store is generally well-maintained and clean. However, one issue that arises is the limited availability of restrooms, which can be inconvenient.

Love Barnes & Noble but it's really hard to find parking at the Veranda. The smaller Barnes & Noble store doesn't have as many books as a typical Barnes & Noble like in Antioch or El Cerrito, but very happy Barnes & Noble is here in Concord.

Fantastic book store as one would expect for a Barnes and noble. Small compared to other locations, but well organized, clean, well staffed, and still plenty of books to choose from.

Seems as if the pandemic is still alive and well. Unfortunately, my type of reading isn't their box of goodies.
