I hate this new bank with a blinding hot passion. I was so happy, happy, happy for over a decade with Bank of the West and was SO SAD when they sold out to BMO. But I never dreamed the new bank would be HORRIBLE. Their Website is a %&^(&*% DISASTER; 60% of the page is occupied with BS dead space on the left, and what you are trying to look at is crammed on the 40% of the right side. The statements are atrocious, difficult to read -- they look like they came off an old dot matrix printer. And the WORST is they have no details on transfers, so when you do a lot of transfers and business banking like I do all you see is "Transfer" without anything regarding to/from account so you have to waste a bunch of time trying to cross reference when you balance your statements to figure out where the money came from or went. The most infuriating part is that they don't need to try and figure out how to fix the problems, they need to JUST DO WHAT BANK OF THE WEST DID! THEIR WEBSITE AND STATEMENTS WERE AWESOME! I planned to move my 6 accounts out of BMO on Jan 1st but have been too consumed with family health issues to be able to take the time to find a new bank, but the sheer hell of my tax prep caused by this piece of garbage minion of Satan bank is forcing the issue asap. Save yourself a nightmare and never do business with BMO. I have never hated a bank so much in my life.

dumbest, tellers and lazy people ever. I don’t know if any business that would have a line of 20 people the five tellers and three managers walking around. Scratching their heads not doing a goddamn thing. Most of them are 300 pound ugly women who are unhappy and miserable. I went into close my account, and the fat teller proceeded to tell me that my bank account could be reopened if another ACH, withdraw or to occur. Which would mean no one would ever be able to close their bank account if there were any outstanding balances. Usually when you try to debit account that doesn’t exist and is closed, the withdrawal is returned to the person who attempted it.

I got my business line of credit from Ashley and the nice folks at BMO! Ashley was quick and efficient, and in the midst of a transition into BMO, she guided me through the maze.... kudos to Ashley!

If I could, I would rate this zero stars. They can't even help with debit card issues. I was on the phone speaking with a representative and they put me on hold, then waited until they closed to hang up the phone. -10/10 ?

Like others have stated they hit you with fees that should have never happened and refuse to reverse them. They have stolen my money for the last 3 months straight and can not give me a viable reason. Will be closing my account asap. I have had 6 different banks and all were crooks but this place takes the cake. Wells fargo is better and it's one of the worst.

I have been banking at BOW for 16 years. I went into the concord branch to cash a check and the teller and manager said they couldn't because it was a weekend. MY HUSBAND AND I WORK FOR A LIVING THROUGHOUT THE WEEK AND HAVE KIDS TO FEED. Employees Sebastian Acosta and Miral Zahran lack listening skills, empathy, and don't value long standing customers. Sebastian's first initial ask to me was if my check was fake and if I knew where it was coming from. The audacity and rudeness this employee possessed. It was my employers reimbursement check for childcare !!! If they paid attention to detail they would have saw the check was from my employer !!! I closed my account and will be banking at @chase with my husband. Thanks BOW you have truly made a mark on your brand. Peace the efff out!!!

Terrible bank! I just got charged $140 overdraft fee even though there was not an overdraft on my account. After spending sometime on the phone with a representative, she could not prove the overdraft either. But, and here's the catch, they will not reverse the fee! THIS BANK IS LITERALLY STEALING MONEY FROM PEOPLE!!! To make things even worse, this is the second month in a row this has happened to me! Bank at Bank of the West if you do not mind bankers stealing money out of your account!

It literally took them almost 30 days to post a $3 fee for using another ATM not designated as Bank of the West. 30 days? I have transactions sitting there, they must be thinking about them, because they've gone nowhere.say "processing". In a day of 2022, when I spend money or pay a bill it shouldn't process at all. Maybe 24 hours. These have been sitting there for 4 days or more. Extremely inefficient for banking. It is the way of the world.

They have been calling me leaving me voicemails to reach out. I reached out and have been on hold for a very long time. Yesterday I was taking down Christmas decorations so let it stay on hold. I finally gave up after an hour and 11 minutes. After the disappointing, non-existent, customer service on the phone, I visited the bank on Diamond Boulevard and guess what? temporarily closed. ? If I could give this Bank less than a 1 I would do so. Thank God there are other Banks because I will be switching.

It’s very frustrating have a large company as this one not update THEIR hours. I took time off of work to withdrawal money and get a cashiers check. Google say their open to 5pm but they close at 4pm. It’s the little stuff like this that makes me want to cancel my accounts and go with the smaller credit union. Anyhow frustrating.

I guess going to the bank on a Friday (pay day for alot of people) is not worth being open for. There were many people walking up(including my self) but this location is closed from 12:15pm to 1pm. Closing a location for everyone to go to lunch is not good management skill on having people go to lunch all at the same time. Very disappointing

This review is for their phone assistance. I am on hold for 2 hours (and going) I have their Business account which I also don't recommend. Usually have really nice staff in the banks.. But horrible online and phone support. But that's me comparing them to Chase.

Wow- must be nice to have both Saturday and Monday off! Screw those of us who have to work Monday through Friday and can only bank on Saturdays. Should also add- Online hours state that the bank should be OPEN this morning. Drove all the way there to have 3 other customers in the parking lot also complaining because it was CLOSED. If you guys are going to close not one but two days- least you could do is INFORM your customers. Passed by Wells Fargo and other banks- all open! Bank of the West should learn from them. Time to bank elsewhere so I did =) Opened an account with one the banks that was actually open. Closing my account with BOW as soon as they have actual customer service available.
