Just want to thank the manager for always helping me on everything, I need for my projects. Today she went above and beyond with, helping me and getting my stuff ready. She is always has my orders ready and when I have any questions, if she does not have the answer, she will find someone to help me out. Its a shame people gave her bad reviews, but I guess thats what happends when people dont know what they are doing or have no knowledge of what Ames is all about..

Well I can see why this place has a one star review. I just had a Conversation with their so-called manager Cory over the phone. It was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. I called to get some advice on product that I purchased yesterday and she hung up on me twice When I called back to let her know that her customer service was unacceptable she made some excuse that she thought it was a Robo call. I'm not even sure what that is but I was clearly saying that I needed advice on product that I just purchased. There was no mistaking it. This woman is rude and definitely not a manager of any kind. She should not be working in customer service ever! I understand that she's been there for almost 5 years (and to think that Raj the owner allows her to be the face of his business is insane! I've hired bad managers and I've hired good managers and my business is dramatically different when I have a good manager at the helm. As a designer I value my close contacts in the construction world and we will be finding another place to source our materials. Update: my guys just went to install the corner bead they sold me and they sold me the wrong length! And they won't exchange it! Total knuckleheads working there! Buyer beware!

I can't tell you how many times I have come here and they where closed for lunch. CLOSED FOR LUNCH!!!!!!?? What retail store, supply house closes for lunch? Thats when we go get stuff, at lunch! Don't waste your time, go to Grabber.
