I've never had a bad experience at American Eagle like today. I'm not sure if she was the manager or just an employee but her name was Cynthia. She was very rude, unprofessional, and just getting in people's business. When I had walked in the store I had a return to make, so she told me that she could hold my returns but I was very confused because that has never happened to me and I was still looking.. anyways she ended up saying "oh no sorry your still looking" like yeah we had just walked in the store and she only said that because I looked at her with a confused face. Also when my sister was looking, the girl Cynthia just had an eye on her like if she looked suspicious & it made us feel very uncomfortable. once I finish paying, my sister was also paying with a different employee and he was actually being nice and my sister had asked him if the 30-60% worked for the jeans she was buying and the girl Cynthia just jumped into the conversation telling me that it's just online that it needs a code in order to use it. I just felt it was none of her business because no one was talking her and the way she was saying it was very rude. I don't think anyone should feel the way we felt today like if she was targeting us.

Looks so clean, and a very nice place to do shopping. A lot of sale up to 60% off on clearance, upon entrance we were greeted by a nice staff in suit, unfortunately, person by the cashier is very slow asking email and stuff on the person in front of us. I'm not exaggerating but she was really slow. upon making this review another nice male staff offered to help us and added a person by the register. She's quite nice too.

My kid has a hard time fitting jeans. We were walking past american eagle. The short girl long hair helped find three pairs of PERFECT fitting jeans!! They were all on sale for $29!

I got two gift cards, a $25 and a $75, which was a total of $100 (as a gift to my sister ) and when we went to AEO the $75 card didn't go through so then my sister calls me over from another store where I was shopping and so the cashiers start telling me that "the $75 were nowhere to be found and that the computer doesn't lie... [blah blah] and that there's nothing that [they] can do" so I'm just like then where did the $75 go because I wouldn't give my sister a fake card . . .

Nice collection of cloths but missing signs. On the ticket says clearance but not exactly how much until you get to the cashier. Lovely cashier and a nice guy on the sales floor.

Awful, awful, awful customer service. I walked in right at opening to do a return and was told to go to the front counter. I then proceeded to stand there for 10min while the apparent manager did paperwork at the front of the store. After standing there for 10min someone came from the back to help me. I really like AE clothing. But, I'll never shop at this store again. A customer should never be told to go stand at the register while the employee does something logistical in front of the customer. The customer always comes first. I went in another time and wanted to exchange an item I purchased online. They didn't have it in the store. The employee proceed to tell me it would be really hard to do the exchanges. And it would be "easier" to just return and I order on my own time. These are great ways to lose customers. And this store for sure lost one after these encounters. Whoever manages this store is not training their employees well and making the experience of shopping with AE miserable.
