UPDATE: i brought my dog in again because he was acting sick (which had me worried sick) Another girl did my room this time and it was so much better! She was well put together and was very professional. When the doctor came in, she assisted him well. (We love Dr. Bedros btw) After the doctor told us what he wanted to do, I expressed my concern to her about my dog and how worried i was. She was so empathetic and kind. Reassuring me that they would take good care of my dog. AND they definitely did! because after a couple of days, my pup was feeling all better and back to his normal self. I was honestly thinking about going to a different vet because of my last experience but i think im okay for now. Thank you so much Dr. Bedros and Audrey!

I have been coming here for many years. Unfortunately the practice has gone downhill since Dr. Lentz retired and sold it. We recently took our cat in for what appeared to be an ear infection. As noted in other reviews I was dinged for $98 in advance for an exam fee. The exam consisted of only things that could be upsold. For example teeth, fleas, vaccines and of course the hard sell for blood work. The temperature was not taken, heart and lungs were not listened to. The only attention given to the ears was ear wax samples taken with Q-tips on the outer ear flap. This was smeared onto a slide and without our consent turned into a cytology charge. Only after our challenging the doctor did he look into the ears with an otoscope. For reference I have worked back office for veterinarians five years. I have never seen this approach to a patient presenting with an ear complaint. Physical exams always include temp, heart and lungs too. My wife is a physician. She was present also and equally shocked. There are a lot of skilled veterinarians in the area. Dr. Bedros is not one of them. Avoid this practice.

When did All Bay start asking for payment over the phone? Tried to make an appointment for my cat and the lady said she needed payment before scheduling the appointment. That is such bullshit. I will pay you the day he gets seen. This is extremely unprofessional. If they had had problem with people not paying in the past then they should have that info on the peoples records that do. Not punish those who pay their animals medical bills every time no problems.

I called to make an appointment for a spay and dental cleaning. I got an estimate from them a few months back but wanted to wait till my dog had her next heat and was finished with it. They said since I waited I have to have another consultation beforehand which was another $98 on top of the estimated price. I get that they want to make sure she is in good health before surgery but it was the way they said it. It's all about the money first, then the pet. Such a shame and a turnoff

I've been with All Bay for 11 years and they see both of my dogs. Dr. Hou is fantastic! They are great!! My dogs have had a variety of problems from a minor cough to being attacked by another dog and cancer. They've treated both of my dogs with care and compassion. The staff is great and I wouldn't go anywhere else!

The vets, nurses, and staff at All Bay Animal Hospital are literally lifesavers - this is absolutely not an exaggeration. Last week my 11 year old cat Salem stopped eating and was hiding under the bed constantly, which is so unlike her. We called around and managed to get a same day appointment on a Saturday here, which was incredible, and once we took Salem in the vet discovered she had multiple teeth with lesions on them that needed to be extracted ASAP. They reviewed all the risks of the procedures and recommended tests to run ahead of time to make sure Salem would do well under anesthesia for the amount of time it took to remove the teeth. Yes, the tests were expensive, but they were also run on extremely short notice for a surgery scheduled 4 days in advance, so we went ahead with them. The vet sent us home with some pain meds in the meantime to make sure Salem could eat while we waited for the surgery. All the test results came back normal and her surgery was last Wednesday. They ended up having to extract 8 teeth, but the surgery overall was a success! Salem came out of anesthesia a little loopy but otherwise in good spirits. The recovery wasn't easy - she was in a lot of pain during the days immediately following the surgery, so the nurse who took care of Salem let us come by at the end of the day to pick up more kitty pain meds for her. The difference now is like night and day. She's back to her old self, wolfing down wet food, cuddling with me, and meowing for attention constantly. I was so nervous about the entire surgical process but the team here could not have handled it better. Thank you all so much for taking care of Salem!!

Went here for my dog's earache. They tried to upsell me for so many things! After saying no to a bunch of unnecessary things, they then quoted me $425 to check it, and give me meds for an ear infection. I told them I did not want my dog sedated and they refused to help him without sedation because "he didn't want them to touch his ears"! No S%$t Sherlock! He had an earache! The sedation was for the convenience of the Dr., not my dog! They then charged me over $500!!!! Will NOT be returning. They have always tried to upsell me! DONE with this Vet! Do yourself a big favor and find a Vet that actually cares about your beloved pet and not the almighty dollar!

The office manager called me back apologized and informed me that protocols would be overriden and they would provide the pain medication refill, free of charge.

Fantastic, caring staff- from reception to Doctors. They are transparent with costs before they do and also take time to explain options and don't pressure you to.

Found a lost dog in the street dragging a leash and was looking for someone to scan for a chip, they were the second vet I called because the first one I called wasn't remotely interested in helping (ABC vet hospital) only a few blocks away from All Bay. ABC said they had an appointment in two days and they're booked up(other related reviews had similar things to say), I imagine they were trying to rope me into a paid appointment for a simple 30 second task. I called All Bay up and asked them if they scan dogs, "Sure come on in" I show up, sat down and they had the chip scanned right in the waiting room. We had a name almost instantly and after All Bay looked up the chip. They placed a short call to the chip company and handed my info over for the owner to contact me since the number on file went to voicemail. All Bay was busy with a lot of customers and I had to go to work so they offered me a few dog treats to keep the dog busy and weren't sure how long it had been running around, shortly after leaving I got a call from the owner and they were reunited. Thank you All Bay for making a great effort and helping with no complaints or hurdles unlike some other so called vets.

5 Stars for Dr. Macaulay - she had amazing bedside manner with my dog. This was very important as I drove to Concord all the way from Sacramento since she came highly referred from a friend. She's very professional and explained things clearly in a manner I can understand and that's why I ended up pursuing all of her treatment recommendations she felt would help my dog with his yearly itching and allergies. Our initial exam ran so smoothly and she was very gentle with my dog. She noticed that he was nervous since it was his first visit but she made him feel comfortable while explaining everything she did as she was doing it. You can tell she has a real love for animals, especially dogs! If you're looking for a veterinarian that truly cares for the well being of your dog, I would highly recommend Dr. Macaulay. For me she's worth the drive from Sacramento if it means my dog is going to receive genuine vet care. I also appreciate that I received a follow up text this morning checking in to see how my dog is doing post treatment care.

This is the only place in my area with a reptile vet. My beloved leopard gecko, Chichi, was sick one day and had stopped eating. I called around to different places, Googled reptile vets near me, and this was literally THE ONLY ONE within a 90 mile radius. I tried what I could at home for Chichi. Including finding an online vet who charged per phone call and email. I did what they said but nothing improved. Meanwhile I had called this animal "hospital" several times but no one ever answered. I practically begged them to call me back and so I waited. I continued the care routine at home according to the online vet, knowing she didn't have much time. I called this animal hospital again after a couple weeks. Still no response. After a month passed with still no call back I drove over and sat in the office with my pet in her carrier. No one greeted me, no one came out, no one was there. I waited an hour before I left in tears. Sadly, the at-home care was not enough and my Chichi passed away one night. I took her little body up to Black Diamond Mines with some flowers my children picked and we buried her there on a hill where she'll get to enjoy the sun every sunny day. But 0/10, zero stars, ZERO rating- this horrible place is NOT recommended. This animal hospital sucks. They don't care about people or sick animals. Does anyone even work here? This place is a sick joke.

The person I spoke with on the phone was not friendly. Not the kind of business I would trust my pet with. They probably have a great business but 1st impressions are very important.

It's just OK. Don't get me wrong, everyone that works here is very kind, the space is clean and the location is convenient with plenty of parking available. The only reason why I wouldn't give them 4 or 5 stars is because I had to go back about 4 times for my dogs ear infection due to them not being able to cure it the first time around. I don't care about the money or them trying to upsell me...I care more that my baby is uncomfortable and possibly in pain for weeks at a time from an ear infection that could've been cleared the first time around. There are probably better options nearby, but I don't have a car and my pets are pretty healthy for the most part, so I only come to All Bay for emergencies only. That is all.
