Had worst experience ever at Ralph’s Laguna Hills. Not only did the box person have no training but the male checker was extremely rude & condescending to every customer in line. If they can’t hire enough employees then maybe the should cut their corporate earnings and pay employees better and train them to do the job. It wasn’t the box persons she was t trained that falls only to the poor management of the store manager or company whom ever holds the leadership responsibility. Prices climb while service declines. It’s no wonder Trader Joe’s has grown so much I’m popularity!

The manager Shawn in the produce department drops fruit & puts them back on the shelf. When asked, "Aren't you suppose to either take them to the back & wash them, donate them, or throw them away?" With an angry tone he said, "No, you're suppose to wash them!" I said, "I've worked in produce, and you're suppose to take them to the back & rewash them." He said, "Go away, & let me do my job." I said, "Rewashing the produce when you drop them is part of your job."

While I love to shop at Ralph's in other areas in Los Angeles, the Ralph's on 5429 Hollywood Blvd, in Los Angeles, employees are rude, unprofessional, no people skills, act as though it is their home, and restrooms are nasty and filthy. The first time I came in, the cashier allowed a customer to come in and out, in and out (repeatedly) of the line to shop, while others wait for her in the line... who does that? I spoke to an employee about the uncleaned restroom, and she stated "to hell with that restroom, I'm on my lunch break." and that was my last visit. Made me wonder should I buy my food, and there's never a manager around when you need one. Corporate, please make some changes!!!!

The worst corporate office people I've ever dealt with. Ralphs managers and people who work at the corporate office pass the buck. They say I don't know talk to this person. Call this person.

Get Apple Pay - I shop elsewhere because of this. Ralph's is the only major store that I know of to not have Apple Pay. Maybe you wouldn't have to close stores if you had Apple Pay

Main & Chapman in Orange - no cashier’s to serve me. Only self serve which is not acceptable. Digital coupons? No, so I paid more than the marked amount. Also unacceptable

Someone please contact corporate about this..... Seriously.SAN LUIS OBISPO LOCATION: THE OWNERS OF RALPH'S NEED TO KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!I was having trouble finding an item and my hands were full. Like a dummy I went in for one item and started grabbing everything lol. I asked someone where the castor oil is, they said uh I don't know. Then gave me the wrong isle. So I walked all over for no reason. I go back up to the front to ask for help again. This lady sees me looking confused/frustrated comes up to me and immediately asks if I need help. I was like "Do you work here?" She seemed too smart to work there honestly (no offense to grocery store workers). She not only shows me where the item was she walked me to it and helped me find it. Then, as my hands were full I couldn't pick up the item. Literally without a word she picked up the item and very politely grabbed some of the things that were falling out of my arms and carried them to the front of the store with no problem. She was actually 'happy' to help me and I didn't even have to ask!!! I haven't ever ever.... received customer service like this, literally anywhere ever. The voluntary kindness of someone intelligent enough to assess and mentally process and react to my need in such an exemplary way simply by reading my facial expression, having empathy and choosing to care, communication skills and rationality to handle it quickly, as well as patient temperance not to be a j*** or act put out at all (as most people fail in one or most of these aspects) almost made me cry. This is truly a mental process many people are either ignorant of or incapable of.The world desperately needs to learn what this person has to teach.I hope she gets promoted, raised, and that she becomes the owner of a huge company and makes millions of dollars!!!She is a brilliant empathetic person that takes pride in doing well at their job and excelling at being morally decent. A rare thing, she truly deserves to be a successful happy human being.Oh "Amanda"... That's her name. She is very bright and should be so much more than just a manager. She needs to be an owner! Incredible woman. Thanks Amanda!!! <3 <3 <3Please do something for this woman. Elevate her to make better companies! Use her ability for customer care at the highest level of organizations. She needs to have some sort of course or something where she can train all businesses on a national level on interacting with other human beings/customers in a rational quick witted polite professional way and with excellent temperance. I cannot reiterate that enough. She has a skill that the world desperately needs on many levels. If every company in the world had employees that use the same thought process and behaviors as Amanda this world would be a much much better place."I dub thee Amanda of Ralph's... ~The Queen of Human Resources~."

I’m taking my business to Vons from now on because I’m tired of getting threatened by homeless people every single weekend at Ralph’s for the last five years. It’s always a problem at Ralph
