The couple guys that work in the back( who bring out the cars and load them to containers) need some people skills. They treat customers and transporters bad. Their actions and attitude don’t reflect this company’s values. Dear management, pls train your employees on polite manors and good attitude. Little things like smiles and saying thank you go long way. It reflects your company image. Imagine how much repeat business you guys are losing and how much bad reputation goes around just because some couple people who thinks they can treat people bad and get away with it.

Oceans International Packing and Shipping deals with any of your international shipping needs. Rather it be shipping a car to Australia or Belgium or sending freight to England, we got you covered. Need whole Container? It can be done. Oceans does more than shipping though, we also carry Jansen construction machinery and Futura trailers (you know, the kind that lower to the ground and then raise back up for you, so cool). Check them out.

Horrible, unorganized and unprofessional customer service and staff. If you ever deal with them, get lots of patience and good luck
1. Hours of waiting on the phone
2. Appointment was not booked and rebooked properly, so I had stay there overnight as I drove from Texas
3. Receptionist-Sandy ? OMG She’s is doing everyone a favour for working there and you have to wait until she finishes chatting with her friends on cell phone and talking to her hermanos on work phone, and gives you wrong instructions after!
HORRIBLE AND SHAME ON YOU GUYS

Waited over an hour and was told my car was a drop-off, not a pick-up and that they didn't have any contact information for me... even though they texted me. Really disorganized operation. And I saw other people experience excessive waits as well. Absolutely would NOT recommend. It would be easier to just buy a new car.

I've been waiting in the yard for a staff member while they sit inside stuffing their faces (at 930am). If you need to visit here, allow plenty of time as no one cares. Absolutely without a doubt the worst staff in the industry. But the reception staff are very nice.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY ... and I'll tell you why. When you decide to ship your household goods (and in my case, I also included my car) overseas, there are a string of players involved. From your movers (apartment to warehouse), the shipping company, and movers at your destination. Well, I had hired a shipping company out in Florida through recommendations from a friend who used them. I live in Los Angeles. The move was from LA to Stockholm, Sweden. On the day of my move out of the apartment, I had hired reputable movers with excellent reviews. In fact, the only company I did not personally hire was Oceans International as they were hired through the shipping company I used. I was overseeing the movers and personally went to Oceans Intl. warehouse where my household goods were dropped off for further packing and shipping as that is the service that I paid for. But after you drop off your household good, you really have no control over how your items are stored, how they pack and how everything is handled. You only hope they pack it well for long, transatlantic container shipments. My shipment took 4 months total. First of all, despite blaming Covid, it's ridiculously long. I found out, my items weren't shipped from Oceans until a month after I had dropped the items off. Why so long? Exactly. I have no answers. Second, the movers I hired in Sweden to empty the container at the port, remarked on how badly the items were packed, the pallets that had been used that were sunken, dirty with nails sticking out. The movers urged me to take photos at the damages they already saw through the damaged plastic wrapping around the furniture. And a testament to Oceans poorly done job, is that NONE of the items personally packed by me had any damages to them. I had several furniture pieces that had scrapes, holes, dirt on them. Frames with glass crashed with the artwork destroyed that I had to throw them. It would have been so easy to pack my items well. I didn't have much household goods to begin with. Only from a two bedroom apartment. Most of my larger items such as sofa, table, dresser etc were new. That's another reason I'm so upset, because I had just had a baby during the pandemic and selling off stuff was going to be difficult, so I decide to ship my things including my car. Expensive! I paid $6100 total to Oceans International for packing and shipping service and now they refuse to take responsibility despite all the photo evidence I have and reimbursement me for the damages. This is what they said in an email to me: "Hello Mr. Lindberg, Please contact the shipping company you booked with and file a claim with them or through your marine insurance. We're not going to be able to assist you since you did not book your shipment directly with Oceans International." (But they were paid for packing and shipping service). Well, they messed with the wrong person. I will not just let them blame my movers and everyone else under the sun, but to take responsibility for their unprofessionalism and a job done poorly. And if I can use Yelp to help inform and warn others of Oceans International, I will not stop spread the word. Like I said, I am a recent client. My shipment arrived on March 9, 2021 so we'll see what happens and what actions are going to be taken in the days that follow. But I will go the legal route if need be. That's the good thing about being American. Law suits are a great tool if need be.

Recently visited with family, since we had my cousins and aunt moving from Honolulu to Vegas. While I can't account for how much it cost to utilize their car shipping services, I can tell you all that we drove down there from Vegas to pick up the cars for significant cost savings. Prior to writing this review, my cousins that coordinated with different reps have stated how informative and communicative they are. They honestly couldn't guarantee us that the cars would be ready for pick up the same day it would arrive in California, so we had to reschedule an appointment for pick up and our personal schedules to accommodate. Not any different from so many accommodations we've had to make during this pandemic - betting they're also working with limited staffing. Anyway... Day of we realized how hard it was to locate their office because they don't have their business' name on the building front. It's actually located on a building called "Continental Logistic Service Inc." and they also have a different business name on the entry's gate. Small parking lot is located near the office, and they're only accepting one client at a time in their office (social distancing/limited capacity guidelines). Once my cousin settled the paperwork with the front office staff, the rep radioed another staff member to meet us where all the shipped cars were parked. It took about another 15 minutes for that parking rep to meet us with the paperwork for 2 cars we were retrieving. He verified the cars paperwork, keys with my cousin, letting us take a look that there weren't significant damage (e.g., dents), and drove them out of the spots to make sure the cars were still running. FYI: shipping policy only allows clients to fuel these cars 1/4 of a gas tank, so we had to fill the cars up ASAP after leaving the lot. Minor incident after pickup was that my cousin's car alerted him to low tire pressure, so we also had to fill tires with air at the gas station while refueling. I don't know if that's normal with different climate and setting changes, considering it was shipped from Hawaii to the mainland, and driving long distances (Compton to Vegas). Just know that I'm also going to end up doing a tire check with my aunt's car later on this week because my cousin noticed how different it was riding on the roads back to Vegas.
