I purchased my bedroom set from Alameda Thrift &New Furniture and let me tell you it look better in person then it look in the catalog it exceeded my expectations. I have purchased many pieces of furniture for this and I will continue to come due to the excellent service,professionalism,and the price. If you're ever in this area give this little gem a try and I bet you will be really be intrigued with all the catalogs they gavefor you to fine the perfect piece for your home.

If you are looking to donate anything, please know you will not get any kind of receipt for a tax write off, like any other donation store. Even though we called 2x before we donated ALOT of furniture asking if we would receive a receipt for tax purposes, and was told by a woman that worked there that we would get one, that did not happen. Furniture was in pristine condition. In my book, if you call a place 2x to confirm information, and then when you arrive they change their story, that is a SCAM. We trusted this place and they could not, and would not honor what was said over the phone.

First time here today, I found one cute nike toddler shoe in great condition.One shoe was out and you have to go to the counter to ask for the other shoe. They write numbers on the shoe to find the pair. The lady at the cash register called someone in the intercom, a woman came out and rudely said "okay but it's going to take a long time to find".Why try to persuade a paying customer NOT to purchase an item???? Well, I waited and purchased the shoes. When I came home I tried to remove the writing that they put on the shoes with acetone. And It does not come off. At all. There's gotta be a better way of marking the shoes. It's completely visible when worn :( Super disappointed, definitely would not have purchased if I knew it wouldn't have come off. Why use permanent marker on shoes? I just don't get it.Unrelated, but there's also a $10 card minimum.

My new favorite thrift store! It was very well organized. And had lots of good vintage brands. The staff were very nice. The items were easy to look through and were very well organized. It's very cute and big inside the store. There was plenty of good vintage things to look through. And both women and men's clothing sections were very well stocked. Not to mention just how big the furniture and Knick knacks sections were. This place is a hidden gem and I definitely will be back.

Unfortunately the prices ARE constantly going up & it looks more & more like anything you could make money on is going out the back door,if you are just looking for clothes for you the prices are still good.
