Bunch of scammers and thieves. Dropped off about 5 watches that needed to get their batteries replaced. Out of 6 only 5 actually got replaced. They told me the other one must be broken because according to them they swapped the battery. Took it to a watch repair shop the guy opened it up and said they had put a used battery. Wondering if they did the same for the other watches. Avoid this place. Cheap prices means the service is cheap too

What a pleasant establishment. I went today to purchase a birthday gift for my Goddaughter. She turns 12 on Saturday and I just had to get her a pair of hoops MY Girl The care and professionalism was outstanding. I am sure that I will continue to do business with such a fine establishment

Great customer service! They got me in and out within 10 min. I knew what I wanted and they got that done for me with no hesitations. Definitely recommend and a lot of affordable things there thanks!

My son has autism and he wanted his watch fix, they were so nice to him as well as us. They didn't treat him differently. we are so happy with the work they did. My son said he will definitely be coming back he loves there jewelry shop. I know ill be back for a few other things they have there. you guys should check them out theirs a big variety of merchandise, jewelry, watches and good prices to.

This place is so unprofessional. First of all I'm greeted by a lady eating chicken wings and touching everything with her LICKED fingers. Yuck. There's better options for this service else where. Was happy to find a place to fix some of my watches. The guy working there said he could fix all of them when he took them. When I pick up he then tells me one of the watches had an issue and so he didn't want to mess with it more. I told him it was weird because it didn't have it before but to just give it back. He then takes forever pretending to close the watch. On the side the lady with dirty fingers is trying to charge me more than what the prize tag says for a band. Then she gets mad that I call her out for it. Then she finally tells him to just stop trying to close it and comes to me saying she now needs to send the watch to another place so they can close it and I will have to pick it up later. At this point It's so fishy. Because they don't even have the right tools for that watch. Upon receiving he didn't say anything else was messed up. And it didn't have anything because I just went for a battery change. In which he agreed to. He didn't know how to fix it. He just messed it up by trying. He then tries to call me out on questioning them and not being happy with their shitty service. Go wash your hands and DISINFECT your surfaces lady. And be more responsible or your f*** ups. J****

needed a battery for my grandpas watch did not want to go to the mall since they charge alot for the service. So driving down whittier blvd and noticed a jewerly repair store although i have seen it on yelp just wasn't sure where the place was and reviews were mixed. Figured why not stop by since we were close. As, soon as we walked in greeted by a women and younger man, not sure if they were related but they were very friendly and the guy replaced the battery super quick and very polite. I don't know why the reviews were bad, but for me the customer service was excellent and this will be our go to spot to get repairs done.

Online service poor vs instore see below WHAT A NIGHTMARE This all started in December: Their online purchases are horrible, first there was no tracking what so ever, no contact on their end. Then the watch I ordered arrived in a beat up box, the watch was not even in its own box it was in dirty bubble wrap, the watch itself had brown liquid stains on the tags, the watch was covered in scratches, fingerprints, and some kind of sticky substance, if that is not bad enough the watch did not work was completely dead.. It was presented online immaculate and as a new watch, this was definitely used watch. I purchased this as a gift for a friend for her birthday , I needed it by a certain time and there was no way I could give her this disgrace. I called ALCALA'S JEWELERS immediately that day, the guy argued with me and really could care less I told him I would send photos of the watch and I wanted a refund. I sent the email with the photos. I never received any response.. I called my credit card company to dispute the charge.. I sent ALCALA'S back the damaged merchandise. Months have passed and I did NOT write a review because I was just happy to get my money back and have the nightmare behind me. In April I see the charge is re applied to the card, my credit card company says that ALCALA'S FINALLY responded in March and claims they did not receive anything and so they reapplied the charge. I am now still in the process of disputing this charge, I do not want to pay for something I no longer have or that is damaged. This started in December we are now in May going into June.. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE, maybe their in store purchases are great but their online orders are atrocious and they have no regard for customer satisfaction or even having any contact besides the transaction of taking funds. This is the only merchant I have ever wrote a review for because it is outrageous the lack of concern and the extensive amount of time this mistake of transaction has stolen from my life. Do NOT MAKE THE SAME mistake I did ordering Online With ALCALA'S Jeweler's
