A very nice little museum specializing in the California Gold rush era. They have the friendliest staff here too. Columbia is a must visit location during your California gold rush exploration. The area has a few RVparks and motels to choose from. Please read all of the reviews on Columbia if you have not already done so. Parking at the park is free. There is also no admission charges, so bring the kids. There are numerous places to stay and to eat slong with a couple of old-fashioned bars right downtown. If you found this helpful, please click on Like for me, thanks.

The museum is the main hub for information regarding the park. The docents and staff have all sorts of knowledge on the history of Columbia and are great to talk with. You can see artifacts as well as buy some awesome souvenirs. There is a lot to look at!!

The entire town of Columbia, California is a museum. Giving visitors a chance to immerse themselves in the old west and gold Rush days. The museum itself has many different artifacts from across the towns history to go along with the story of how this little gold rush town came to be and continues to be. They also do tours of the town for FREE at 11:00 a.m. every morning, starting at the museum.
