Agent Jorge Orozco was the most patient, hard working insurance agent we have had the pleasure of working with since being in business for the last 15 years. Ricky was quite professional when giving my company a quote and taking my in full payment for my 3 locations. What he did not do was ensure that my address and personal correspondence was correct, causing the inspectors and insurance company to not be able to get in contact with me. This made my policy cancel. The cancellation date was November, and I initially did not understand the reason why it was cancelled, but once I did some digging I realized that Ricky and Business Direct Insurance were in such a hurry to take my payment, but did not ensure that my information was correct. Once I pointed out this information to Ricky, he decided to give me the run around regarding my refund for the unused amount after I told him I was not confident in his services because he had all of my insurance information being sent to a city that I have never done business in. He took exactly 9 months, and me contacting the insurance company, the underwriter (several times) and the underwriter doing me a favor and contacting Ricky to give me back the funds that they took. This process and customer service was extremely inconvenient and unprofessional. I will never recommend Business Direct Services nor Ricky Alas for any insurance services based on their poor treatment and lack of consideration for myself and my company.
