We had no clue that this gem was tucked inside of the gas station had it no been for other reviews on here, so we wanted to add ours to help others too! We were in need of some quick and yummy sandwiches to enjoy while relaxing on the river and the finds we found here were perfect. We enjoyed a range of sandwiches (including a Philly cheesesteak!) and some side salads too (egg salad was the bomb). If in need for a delish lunch while out enjoying the river or a hike, this is def a great spot to grab and go!

Thank you guys for my amazing Turkey sandwich today. As always it was delicious. As well as a bit of entertainment while listening to a crazy bitty ramble on her order without ordering at all. This is the place to stop at after a nice day at the river!!! The burgers taste as good as they look in these pictures, and you absolutely need to get some onion rings. So good!!!

Omg Yummmmmmmmy!!! I was skeptical To get my burger at the gas station but am soooooooooo glad that I did. I swear if we would've eaten here a few days earlier, we would've ate here everyday!

Came on the advice of a local and took a chance. Comfort food made with love. The Best Burger was fantastic. I also tried the Philly cheesesteak with jalapeños and a side of fries....perfection! Who would think a restaurant inside a gas station could be soooo good!

Good consistent grub. Call ahead to beat the lines. My favorites are the philly cheesesteak and the black bean burger. The philly is huge! I add pickled jalapeños. Soo good! They only have outdoor seating so plan to eat in your car or to-go in inclement weather. One of the few restaurants in the area that is open year-round.

Given all the local ravings about this place, I had high hopes of having an awesome, delicious burger. It was disappointingly very average. The ingredients were good quality, but it just lacked any real flavor. It was just bland. Hubby felt the same about his. The fries were good. This is take-out only. There are a couple of rickety old, wooden picnic table under some oak trees adjacent to the gas station parking lot where people can eat.

Got in to our camp and came to get fire wood at the Chevron, and doubt the deli on the left hand side in the store. They had just closed, but the ladies still made my buddy and I burgers. They even whipped up a veggie Philly cheese steak for me! Sounds 100% recommend, and will be back when I'm camping in the area.

Although we luv most flatlanders (people from Sacramento) some are just too Jaded. Definitely an awesome owner cooking on a small flat top right in front of you. Might be best burgers and cheesesteak in the foothills. Free fries on Friday with your cheesesteak. Damn good fries and craft beer for $2 each...

The last 4 or 5 times I've been here, the quality has really slipped.... right into being in edible. The oil is so old, anything fried tastes horrible. Check out those fries THE OWNER just charged me for. They were obviously cooked earlier and re-fried to heat them back up. But not long enough because they're only luke-warm, probably in attempt not to burn them (unsuccessful, as you can see). Rubbery, stale, saturated in old over-used oil and overly salted to hide it all -- also unsuccessful. Sorry, this was the last chance. Tired of paying to throw their garbage away.

Inside of this Chevron there is a burger/sandwich shop called Take-a-Bite. Best burger I have had from anywhere in this area. Friendly service, amazing food. Highly recommend.
