We had Bruce put a rebuilt engine in our 74 Beetle. Service was great, he did a great job explaining what was done and helped my son and I diagnose and fix some other issues on our own. Bruce and team have been great about doing some minor adjustments while the engine is breaking in. I took him and his staff a gift for service over and above what I am accustomed to!

The only place that Ill let work on my 1968 VW Bus. Super friendly staff, attentive, reasonably priced, great work and always eager to help. Don't go if you are expecting fancy, go if you are serious about caring for your air cool VW !

Brought in a Volkswagen that needed work. A 3 week job turned into a 4 plus month job and still needs a couple things fixed. You can tell They don't double check there work and everytime I came to check on it there was always a excuse for why it wasn't done. Honestly I took my car here because it had some good reviews but after taking it there and seeing the work done and how slow they are I would never take my car back here again. Nice people in funky old shop overflowing with old parts, old boxes. They know air cooled VWs. But they couldn't do first task right the first time, didn't tell me I needed to pay someone else to follow up the other task, or that their work was not enough to actually fix the problem. I arrived with two problems and left with three. That doesn't work for me. Pricing was in the middle - if it had been completed.

Gave Tassi a second chance and they did me right, my car was running rough and getting horrible gas mileage. After self diagnose I believed it to be bad valves. So after ordering all the parts I needed I took my 73 to Tassi and talked to Bruce who gave me estimates on labor and any parts I might need. After all said and done my car running good again, just took back for post maintenance on top end rebuild. I usually try and do things myself but no lift and being busy at my workplace I needed help, and Bruce did his best to keep me in budget.
