STRONGLY recommend going to another dealership (and, frankly, a different car manufacturer). Volkswagen Serramonte provides no customer service. They have actively ignored phone calls and in-person visits. They sell lemons (which is why maybe Volkswagen is not right for you)

My car has been in the shop for 2 months for transmission change for my Golf, with little to no updates on the progress. The service advisor Alfredo has not responded to most of my requests for updates. WORST customer service ever, hands down. I am currently looking into legal action against this dealership.

Silvio in sales was awesome, highly recommended, and a big part of us choosing a used car at this VW. I came from a few other dealerships in the area who were dismissive and mansplained, and he was refreshingly none of that whatsoever. He took extra time to help us, with a good sense of humor, honesty, and none of that kinda pushy-salesman stuff. Great experience.

When you want to purchase a vehicle go to Serramonte Volkswagen and talk to Silvio. Silvio was a great salesman. Top notch customer service, professionalism and patience. I tested a few car with Silvio to make sure of making the right decision. His knowledge is up to par!!! The buying process with Silvio was really smooth and enjoyable. Silvio will definitely get you a great deal on your next vehicle.

The reason and only reason for my 5 stars is due to Silvio our salesperson at Serramonte Volkswagen. The process of buying a vehicle is really intimidated!! But with Silvio's help, the process was extremely simple. Silvio was so patient with me and all my questions. He showed me a few cars to make sure I was making the right decision for me and my family's budget. His professionalism was up to par. Serramonte Volkswagen is a great place to purchase a car !!!! One star because service on my car took 4 hours for recall work that VW said would take up to 2 hrs. And I'd booked an appointment in advance. Their system seems to allow unlimited appointments even when they are too busy. Staff and mechanic were nice but doesn't give me back lost time. Wouldn't recommend.

The review is for the customer service related to the repair shop and not necessarily the sales department. I went into this shop to have warranty work done on a late model VW. After dropping off the vehicle, the service advisor informed me that there is a complementary shuttle within a 10 mile radius of the shop. Upon completion of the repair, I submitted an online request to be picked up at a designated time. When that time passed and no ride arrived, I contacted the shop for an explanation. Apparently, the driver was “gone for the day” and I was left without a ride to the shop. Knowing this information upfront would have been helpful with planning the pick up of my vehicle. Aside from Alfredo being helpful, Definitely not coming back to this VW location for any repairs or future automotive purchases.

Fast service and friendly service staff that went above and beyond to accommodate and answer all of my questions as a new owner of an ID.4. I really appreciated their help and patience with my myriad of questions, and peace of mind I was given with the answers to them.
**Update**
My ID.4 had an unexpected and unusual issue that occurred. I was able to get in for service quickly and, while my repairs did take longer due to parts that needed to be ordered, Gabe (my Service Department ROCKSTAR ?) was in constant contact with me, providing updates. I really appreciate this attention to detail and superior customer service, which is why I always come back to Serramonte VW.
