I got told by a lady named Pat to, “just come in and pick up my papers and go somewhere else,” after I told her I felt like I’m not receiving any help regarding my crypto filing for this year, as it’s obvious she’s not too knowledge within her field. So please, if you’re looking for a professional adviser who can actually help you, don’t waste your time, as I just saved you some.

Harassing people with multiple phone calls every day is a great way to make them never want to do business with you ever again. Just saying.

We had an excellent experience completing our taxes with the help of Jun Cunanan in Serramonte. He was attentive to our needs and answered all of our questions. We highly recommend him for your tax needs.

This is a terrible office I would stay away if I were you. They're incompetence knows no bounds and they're even still calling me this year after filing my taxes late last year.Even though I turned them in early. Stop calling me!!!!!!!

Normally I file my taxes online by myself. Last year I decided to go to H&R block because I made enough money that it put me in a higher tax bracket. I was able to save a few dollars with H&R Block doing my taxes The charge was $140.This year I decided to go back to H&R block. I have one form more than the previous year so I was charged $240. They came up with the same amount on the refund and what I have to pay. I had already startedy online tax forms and came up with the amounts that H&R did.It took a total of about half an hour to get them done both years. You might want to shop around before coming here. It's bad enough the government gets us but tax filing companies also get us for our money. Adds insult to injury.

Pros:- No fuss; very straightforwardCons:- We had an appointment at 3pm. We didn't get to see our tax preparer until 3:45pm. It didn't look like she was helping any client, at the time.- Would be helpful to hear recommendations on how we can get better returns- I found out by myself that our state return got rejected. I called the HR Block office to ask about something else (online login related question), and her manager answered the call and said "Hmm. Did you know that your State return got rejected? Did [my tax preparer] not mention this to you?" If I had not called today, I wouldn't have known about it being rejected. Why have we not been notified? Today's the deadline too!

The office and the CPA I was assigned are great, but their website is a hot mess. I came across numerous verifiable bugs that caused endless problems in attempting to file. As an example, if you upload a .txt file (which they claim to support) they silently delete everything after the first page. I happened to notice that some items were missing when I reviewed my return, and the CPA had no idea what I was talking about - so I checked the file that I had uploaded and after multiple tests discovered that their website does this silent deletion of the information you are uploading. If I hadn't noticed the effect of this bug in my reviewal of the return, I would have lost thousands of dollars. So - the office is great, but because their software is such garbage, you need to manually review everything, which somewhat defeats the point of trusting someone to do your taxes.

I decided to try H&R instead of filing myself and it was definitely a bad idea. I had Patrocenia and she charged me over $300 and couldn't break down why I was charged so much when I asked. I scheduled an appointment and I had to wait because she mistook another person that was there as her next appointment WITHOUT confirming by name and ignored me even though that other person told her she didn't have an appointment yet she decided to help her anyway and never asked if I was her appointment. Another worker had to tell her twice or 3 times that I was her next appointment. She was NOT HELPFUL at all, also really bad at explaining things in general when I asked whether I should itemize certain things or not/ what would be more beneficial to me. Lesson learned, never coming back. If I could give 0 stars I would. My sibling and friends who also go to H&R but not this location were shocked when I told them how much I was charged and how bad the experience was. The people who helped them were way more helpful and they charged way less.

Over 10 years ago I walked into the Colma H&R Block without an appointment and met Monico "Jun" Cunanan. You can imagine how much changes in ones life in 10 years. Every year he works thoroughly through my ever changing taxes, patiently explaining the reasons for change or no change and gives me the comparison from last years filings. This year was even more scary for me as I purchased my first home OUT OF STATE! Jun was so happy for me and reassured me he would still be able to help me file and of course he explained the changes to come with being out of State and what I should/shouldn't do for the best outcome for myself and my family AND all remote since I am in Nevada and he is in California! Please don't wait, book your appointment with Monico Cunanan today! Take it from someone that has been filing with him over 10 years, he genuinely cares!
