They are very accommodating and always willing to squeeze us in for an appointment. Candice the groomer is GREAT! “I loved the staff and Dr. He really saved my baby from so much unnecessary torture. Let's just say there's another vet in El Dorado hills without a conscience Insight, that will put your pet through all matter of torture, and call it exploratory,to make money off of your love for your babies. When I asked for a second opinion, the doctor at Forest Hill veterinary knew exactly what was wrong with my kitty and fixed the problem with one friendly $75. visit and the other place was going to charge me $2,000.+ And were demanding a $2,000 deposit to even begin the exploratory sergical procedure. They were going to remove teeth from my babies mouth because and couldn't even tell me how many needed to be removed but that I would be charged for each one then out of despair for my baby being in pain and this place wouldn't even call him in anything for pain. I called another clinic for a second opinion and it just happened to be Forest Hill. Veterinary clinic had an appointment open that day and the doctor told me that my kitty had a common cat acne caused by tartar buildup and bacteria in the mouth that's treated with an injection of medication and treated quite routinely. It scares me to think what my kitties life would be like without Forest Hill vet coming to his rescue.”

“My 12 yr old cat Simba recently had a very unfortunate thing happen to him which resulted in a fractured jaw and him unable to eat or drink for several days, the Dr also found some other medical issues which made options for treating him more limited. The Dr suggested an Etube to provide him the nutrients needed to help him recover. I can’t begin to express my gratitude for her and the wonderful staff at For the Love of Pets.They were compassionate, kind, accommodating and highly skilled. I feel Simba is with me today because of the Doctor and all that she and her staff did for Simba. They worked tirelessly until late in the evening on a Friday night putting the Etube in and I am beyond grateful. I am happy to report he is once again a healthy, happy and very loved cat and I have tears of gratitude as I type this. “Saw Dr. Grimes with my newly adopted fur baby and received a warm welcome from the front staff, very little wait before we were taken into the back, and an equally pleasant and very thorough exam by the doctor. The whole place appeared very clean and organized even if rather tight in space. Prices seemed right in line and offered different options for treatment and products. Left with a genuine offer to stop in for a treat if I'm every in the area so that my pooch doesn't associate only upsetting experiences with the location. I'm staying on board!”

“Over the weekend our dear elderly cat became very ill. We took him to an Auburn vet and they prescribed antibiotics. By Monday it was clear they were not working so I called the vet we used for years (Best Friends). The front desk told us we would have to drop him off, they didn't check with the Dr., just put up a wall. So we called Brighton Greens. At first they said there would be a $140 emergency charge and we were fine with that, but after checking they found a cancellation and got us in within two hours. After consulting with the vet we decided it was time to give our kitty relief. We were able to to be with him. It seems we may have found our new vet.”

“We initially brought our elderly dachshund in for treatment for her back issues. After every single treatment by Dr Peggy she rebounded and had more mobility. When it was time for her dental at age 13 as a megaesophagus dog we had significant concerns for her treatment and recovery. Dr Peggy and staff took extra time to meet in advance with us to work on a safe plan. At the end of our girls life Dr Peggy and her team were compassionate and caring. I felt like the whole team cared as much for our sweet girl as we did. I couldn’t have chosen a better group of people to help care for our pup for so many years.”
