We loved our stay at Mandala! It was an experience that exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived until the moment we reluctantly departed, every aspect of our stay was nothing short of exceptional especially the staff and activities to do

We had a delightful extended family vacation. The grandparents were comfortable in a cottage while the young folks enjoyed the creek side camping. Very peaceful weekend in nature. The highlight was the vibrant creek where we spent much of each day. We’ll be back.Rooms: Very comfortable and well appointed cottage.

We found Mandala on Hipcamp. It's very expensive camping for a couple ($85) but a bargain for a group. Very peaceful and relaxing place to camp with luxury bathrooms and a beautiful salt water pool. A serene escape from the Bay Area fog with perfect sunshine summer weather.

Wonderful relaxing campgrounds with fantastic customer service! Our group had a great time despite the hot weather. Cooled off in the pool as well as the swimming hole. Vegan snacks & popsicles in the store too! Loved the fire pit & we didn't have to buy wood. Bathrooms & showers were clean & very nice for camp grounds. We will definitely return!

Bedframe was broken on one bed in the K cabins, the dryer in K cabins didn't work (not hooked up to the vent, and didn't make heat anyway). No resolution over the 4-day stay. The outdoors were very nice though and the bedframe was a fine drying rack. The rest of the place seemed a bit more solid.

For the owner’s attention. I am trying to organize a stay here. I am a breast cancer survivor who has been advised by health practitioners not to eat any soy products or any modified soy protein. In addition I cannot eat cashews. I am in favor of vegetarian locally sourced, organic wholesome food. Awesome. However Plant based protein products are known to have soy.I have been trying to find out whether there will be protein options that I can eat given these 2 items I am unwilling to consume. The message I received back from the chef was less than desirable. I was told that soy-free options can “probably “ be arranged with their caterer. I’m sorry Mandala Springs - “probably” isn’t a word a breast cancer survivor wants to hear. Can you provide meals without soy or not? I was further told that the site does not allow cooking or consumption of animal products (well yes I know that which is what prompted my enquiry). However I was told there are exceptions and that some food is prepared with light milk, cheese, butter or ghee. (These sound like animal products to me, and I don’t see that anywhere on your website). Then I was asked if there was any protein that was not an animal product that would work for me.Well Mandala Springs, apart from the light milk and cheese that you admit to using in your food, I believe that question is where I started, and I can’t answer it, hence my enquiry.I’m a breast cancer survivor that’s been advised by medical practitioners to not eat soybeans or modified soy protein. In addition I cannot eat cashews. You facility states plant protein is used. I would like to attend HAI Level 3 which is at your facility. Are you able to accommodate me and provide me with food that has a protein content? I’m not a chef. I don’t know how to answer this because I am a person that eats meat, fish, dairy, wheat, eggs and vegetables. I just don’t eat soy or cashews.I am not the only breast cancer survivor that will want to come to your facility. Please cater for me and others. If you can’t, please allow me to bring protein to supplement my food. You have milk, cheese and butter on the premises already. Thank you.

The grounds of Mandala Springs was magical! We were surrounded by nature and every turn you take is beautiful! There was a fresh creek that ran throughout the land, mini golf, paddle boarding, lots of space to play any field games, so it worked really good with our big group of people! The staff was friendly and everything was within walkable distance. One weekend there felt like summer camp and everyone enjoyed themselves young and old! High vibe fest success!!!

We initially planned on spending a holiday weekend here and booked three days. When we arrived I was immediately impressed with the cottages, which look like they're very new and are spotless inside. They've got a large bed (with two smaller ones just in case) and the bathroom has a large walk-in shower. There is a kitchen table and a kitchenette with a decent sized sink, a medium-size refrigerator (no freezer), a two-burner electric stove, and in our cottage there was a toaster oven. Just remember that if you're staying and plan to cook, it is a substance-free and meat-free zone, so be sure to respect the atmosphere; it's not hard. The campus itself is gorgeous as well. I couldn't go outside without seeing deer either grazing or running around. There are birds around to offer some atmospheric noise. The pond is great for paddle-boating - they have two of those as well as body boards and a small kayak available. There are a lot of frogs in the pond so keep an eye out for them!Because the campus is large they have bicycles at the office area that you can grab to get from point to point. There are numerous small groves in the desert-like hills for meditation or yoga, often with a picnic bench in case you want to journal or just sit down for a while. The hiking is great because you don't need to have complicated gear on, but in the hot weather it does require some exertion. The fire pit is a great place to meet other people who may be around. There is a mini-golf area that ... is under renovation I'd say. While it's possible to play most of the holes it's clear that this is a recent acquisition and needs to be overhauled. Fortunately it's not the reason we went, but it made for a nice afternoon casually exploring and knocking balls around.I've never had a vacation that was this relaxing. We had such a great time that we extended the trip to more than double the length because we were both feeling so refreshed. This is on our list of places we will certainly be going back to.

I came here for a retreat with another group. I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff are super kind and helpful. The area is beautiful and relaxed. I stayed in a shared house but will be returning next week and camping by the creek. The food is amazing and there is a lot to experience on the property.

I loved the pedal boats and kayaking. The pool was amazing. It was cool how all seven of us stayed in one small cabin. I liked picking raspberries. I love where you farm is, in the perfect natural place with a pond and a creek.
