54432 Rd 432, Bass Lake“We have been going to Pines Resort for family vacations for many years and absolutely love the place. The owners are involved and even treated our son to a birthday gift. The location is exceptional, directly on the lake and close to Yosemite. They allow dogs in some of the chalets. Kids get a campfire and s'mores in the evenings. Water sports equipment is readily available on the lake. Casa Velasco Mexican Restaurant which is within walking distance is great as well.”

We were a bit disappointed that during the winter the bathroom in our room 407 is near freezing cold while other parts of the room is warmer. And breakfast did not have morning star breakfast meatless patties anymore. To make it worse inconsiderate guests leave the luggage trolley in the hallway on the 4th floor and when it was raining one vehicle decided is their special spot. We had to block the road to load our belongings. People hotel staff and housekeepers are not your personal maid, return trolleys and be considerate of other guests. Overall the staff and hotel is great!!! Will stay again when visiting Yosemite National Park.”
“As it is a community center, it is shared by numerous clubs/organizations and events. It is generally respected and kept clean and ready for what's next. I have found the flag/pole not kept intact, more like a "pass the buck" thing.Parking is graveled and can be "hard" to keep your footing. This may limit the participation by seniors and those with physical challenges. But the grounds are nice and access to the building is good.”
