Upcharged for refilling my water. Charged as a coffee.
I really didn’t need to buy anything at all but wanted to at least support them with a small purchase, and when I asked the clerk why he charged me for coffee he said it was “Almost the same thing. Sorry boss”
But offered no refund.
So anyway, just beware that they may charge you for refilling water if you approach counter for anything else
Again, very well aware that there would’ve been nothing stopping me from just leaving without any purchase at all. Just feel that was rude.
Otherwise I appreciate this place being open.

Gas stations on hwy 5 from Coalinga all the way to 152 are posting diesel prices on their highway signs, don’t be fooled that regular only costs $4.29, they are all over $5.

They have a gas leak!! We only needed half tank and we got charged for a full tank!!! People were complaining to the station only to hear THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO. So we paid DOUBLE !!

We travel to Southern California regularly and this is a great spot to get good food. I got the tritip taco salad and was disappointed. It didn't seem to have dressing. I went in to get some but then realized it was just a bland mix of lime and water with a green tint, maybe some cilantro. I would recommend spending a little on a better dressing. I've had better luck before.

Last time, I tried the steakhouse and loved it, and since I'm a huge fan of bbq, I had to try this spot as well. I highly suggest ordering ahead of time through their website so that you can quickly pick up at the window. We made a stop at about 2pm and the line was fairly long, ~15 people. When you turn into Harris Ranch, it's located in the Shell on the right. It's very casual with many picnics tables outside for you to enjoy your meal. My partner and I ordered the burnt ends with mashed potatoes and the tri-tip with baked beans. The burnt ends will come drenched in sauce and the tri-tip will not. The meats and sides were okay given it's a stop in the middle of your drive on the 5 freeway, but I would rather dine in at the steakhouse if I had the time.

Stopped in about a month ago and had just missed the place by closing time on my way out of town this weekend. I made it to Harris Ranch express barbecue. I ordered the brisket, half pound with a side order of macaroni and cheese, and a jalapeño cornbread Biden, it was a great cut of meat, but it was missing flavor. I had to ask for barbecue sauce since there was provided with the macaroni and cheese was OK and jalapeño cornbread stay away from. Will return back to try a sandwich and maybe those are better

Great Barbecue. If you want the freshest servings, then come during the busy lunch hours. We had gone late nights before, a mistake (I'm telling yall, don't do it). Reason why 4 stars only, good quality, but damn, it is expensive.

CRAZY EXPENSIVE!!!! Just because they are close to Harris Ranch, this Shell charges $1.2-1.4 more per gallon then any other gas station near by. Make yourself a favor and don't give them your money if you can drive a few more miles. STAY AWAY FROM IT!!!

Convenient place for Tesla charging, shopping, resting and an almost clean restroom.They also have a Harris Ranch Resort and restaurants in the area for any tired travelers to rest instead of continuing the trips.

I filled my car last week and managed to drop my atm card at the pump. Some kind soul turned it in to security. I called the next morning when I was hundreds of miles away and they were able to send it to me. Great customer service, I was spared having to cancel everything. Thank you!!!

It is convenient to refuel, but the price of gas is too expensive. You can go to the bathroom and shop.

I was ask to move out of the fuel pump meant for truck and RV because apparently I was obstructing traffic when there was plenty of room to drive by. I was in line to buy food and it was almost my turn but I asked where would you like me to park and I was told since trucks are not allowed on the premises and hinted I could park on the road if I wanted to.Btw the pump I parked next to was not working and the one in front was free for someone to use
