“Was well worth pulling away from the 5 to check out the pinball here. Friendly guy who knows his stuff. Wide beverage selection! If you're road trippin' on the 5, come grab a bottle of Big red and play a game of Creature From The Black Lagoon!”

“This Chevron has everything! Including baby wipes travel sizes to cleansing cloth wipes, Motrin etc. cashier friendly and nice! Bought 3 scratchers and he said to me I'm feeling lucky I replied to him yes. He said good luck and I thanked him. Guess what I won 2 out of the 3. Thank you cashier! You got the magical winning touch! This Chevron is clean and organized. Def a must rest stop to stretch, fill up gas, grab snacks and drinks and a quick stop to the restroom.”

“Costco gas prices in the middle of nowhere? Yes; this Fastrip in "downtown" Coalinga is very economical compared to other gas stations. For example, say you're driving along the i-5 in Coalinga and you stop at the Jayne Travel Center right off of the i-5; you'll be paying 2.00 dollars more for regular gas PER GALLON! Yep, it's outrageous. How about Harris Ranch? Almost two dollars more as well. Utter madness. I checked the price of Fastrip at this location compared to Costco up here where I live in the SF Bay area and it's comparable. The price of convenience is not worth it unless you have a gas emergency. I'd definitely recommend doing research if you're around the area (e.g., gas buddy website, not the app) and stopping here at Fastrip if you can. The locals know. There's lots of pumps and an indoor bathroom along with the usual gas station junk food and caffeine.”

“Great service from the guy who helped me to try & save these dogs!! I needed a cup to put some water in, & he was kind/swift enough to help me w/ that. I hope the owner or someone calls to save these abandoned dogs. One of which was badly injured. I myself have been calling, and am still calling... but no one has returned my calls yet. PLEASE HELP!! Call the nearest animal shelter if you spot these dogs. PLEASE!!”

“A gas station is a gas station however this place is slightly different . They have a small kitchen where every day they have a special as well as deli style sandwiches. My favorite is Friday BBQ tri tip,Thursday hot pastrami, Wed double cheese burgers and fries, and a large drink 9 dollars. You get the picture, not fancy but fresh hot food, reasonably priced. They even have tables, and when I am there, I see lots of locals walking over to get lunch. So this gas station actually feeds a lot of people very cool. So if you're in Coalinga and don't want to spend an hour eating or trying to figure out if fast food is your only choice, it's not. Stop by and get gas and food quickly and enjoy skip the car wash.”

“One of my favorite stations. Maybe I'm lucky but usually no one there when I fill up. Takes 3-5 minutes to fill. Good BBQ in the adjacent store and clean bathroons. A lifesaver on my trips to SoCal!”

“I came here for gas clean my windows. Use the restroom. Everything went really smooth but the cherry on top was Maria the cashier who was so on the ball told us about things that were on sale. “We stopped here for diesel fuel for our RV tow vehicle. The pump stopped at exactly $ 100.00, which is extremely rare on its own, and something we never do normally. The station layout was very easy to enter and leave, something important to those of us driving a larger rig (dually pick up and 35' fifth wheel trailer), and a key reason for choosing this fuel stop. Now, the really key part is when a month later I reviewed my credit card statement, and noticed the $ 100.00 charge, the location which seemed off our route that we actually drove, and the transaction date was also odd. However, thanks to a lady named Sandra, we were provided with sufficient confirmation this was our actual transaction.Several aspects of this need to be recognized: the station operator was willing to entertain our suspicions about the charge, she spent time investigating the transaction details with her records and those of her product supplier, and she followed through with her commitment to investigate our situation and to get back to us with the results. I must also add that Sandra was very polite, professional, and thorough in her handling of my concern. Thank you Sandra, and to your product supplier for supporting the inquiries you made on our behalf !A visitor to your lovely state, and fuel station.”

“Gas is gas, a necessary evil. My regular gas station has e85, and is much less hazardous to the environment. The 76 stations in my area are very price friendly, the only gas cheaper is Costco or Arco.”

“I love it. The lady with blonde underneath her black hair was the sweetest and help me claim my Baja Fresh order. I used a Groupon which was amazing to purchase my meals and at first it was annoying because none of the employees had been trained on how to do it , but once they figured it out it made it that much better. Me and my husband where able to actually eat. So we where good. This location does accept restaurant.com egift certificates. I bought my $50 ecertificate for $10 on Groupon. You guys should too. Also. The steak fajita is bomb , the mexicano burrito is bomb just make sure you have your salt and pepper handy or in my husbands case Tajin. Makes it so much better if you don't like bland non fatty food.”

“Great Barbecue. If you want the freshest servings, then come during the busy lunch hours. We had gone late nights before, a mistake (I'm telling yall, don't do it). Reason why 4 stars only, good quality, but damn, it is expensive.”

“One of the best places to stop if you're going down highway 5. It's not too packed and offers a lot of great things to quickly grab. There is a Subway and Baja Fresh here as well, but I tend to go for the snacks. Apparently they have alligator jerky, but I saw the sign as I was leaving so I'll have to try it next time. Overall, a great place to stop on highway 5. Service tends to be pretty flat though, as it seems most of the people here don't care to be working here.”
