Vons is selling "so called" large nectarines. I worked at a packing house when I was younger. These nectarines are not large. They look like "culls" which are set aside and not shipped.

Staff is always super helpful and kind. My only issue is with the prices for some things. Also the produce in the off season is not very good. FoodMaxx has better produce during that time.

I used to come here every week for groceries, but they always shutdown all the self checkouts before 9 and have a single cashier with a line 30+ minutes long. I thought it was a fluke, but it’s been three times now and I will no longer be shopping at vons. Nobody wants to shop for thirty minutes and have to spend 45 min in line to pay. I’ll just go to savemart.

The order online for pickup is a rip off. I've gone back and checked past receipts now, because I noticed they charged me $6 over and above any taxes or fees, and I've been charged unknown fees that vary in amount with each order. In addition, they do not give the full refund when something is missing or an item is damaged. iPad to call and ask for the rest of my refund on three occasions. They are not making a mistake because the error always is in their favor not only are they charging us fees and taxes and for bags we aren't using but they are taking us for money hand over fist without explanation. I'm very upset about this.

Good place to buy groceries when they have thing in stock. My favorite part is that they have self checkout.

I love Vons and my review would be higher but during Christmas I bought 2 Nike gift cards for my brother; one from my mom and one from me both with $100 each. As it turns out, when he went to use them, cashier at Nike store stated one showed $0 balance and one was never activated. Went to Vons where we were told to pretty much take it up with Nike. Nike is also not wanting to take responsibility ? needless to say, please purchase gift cards at your own risk. I have the bank statement and receipt as proof that it was taken out of my account.
