Delivery drivers are horrible! Delivered my order to someone else because they couldn't understand my directions. Everything is great if you don't need delivery. New: I've had 2 more deliveries since and they've been great! I ordered the donuts on this last delivery and the jelly donuts are fabulous!

Pretty solid spot and am pretty sure 1/4 of Clovis was last minute shopping at Vons us included! hahaha. Hella foot traffic and was pretty fun to take part in the mini chaos at the local grocery store Christmas holidays! Charles Von der Ahe aka Von's is a grocery store that the owner started with $1200 bucks and now into the 2020's we have us a Von's in the future! Went for a family and friend visit and a last-minute trip to pick up cooking staples and a matcha powder in tow for baking. Seems very much like a nor-cal, Safeway brand with the red, black and yellow labels on the shelves, prices on the tea were on the steeper end and totally worth it! I had fun shopping here and when am in town I will hop around to sprouts and von's for some fresh moz cheese and spicy chips snacks and staples! Enso forever. I've been shopping here for about 15 years. It's my primary place for getting groceries. They have most of what I need, except for when I'm looking to make some super authentic ethnic food.The employees are polite and friendly. On the rare occasion that I need help, they are eager to provide assistance. On the even rarer occasion that I spill something checking out, they laugh it off without making me feel like an idiot.I like the fact that they continue to make improvements. Before the pandemic they installed an olive bar. They've adjusted it due to COVID. I swear that five years ago they only had like three meats available at the deli. Now they have at least ten.Produce is consistently good. A few times I have brought home expired dairy items. Something to be aware of. Prices seem to be good too. It's smart to take advantage of their sales and use the Vons app to add deals to capitalize on the gas discount.

This store has THE MOST unprofessional managers and employees working here. Wow! I am astounded that these people are working retail as they have absolutely no PR skills whatsoever. Bob is THE WORST a longtime manager that in my opinion has absolutely no business working with the public whatsoever. If you say hi to him he looks you in your face expressionless with no response at all. I've had numerous run-ins with this guy and all have been quite unpleasant. I've since noticed after having numerous verbal disputes with him he has on several occasions been messing with me at the self-checkout by causing error messages on my debit card. This only happens when he's working so I KNOW he's got something to do with it. I also know this to be true because right afterwards I used my card at Target and Jack in the Box with no errors. This only happens at this store!!!! I will be contacting Consumer Affairs and the Better Business Bureau to make them aware of this situation so that they can conduct an investigation on this matter. This man I feel is very sketchy and has no business working retail doing scandalous moves like this. What kind of management do you people have working in your establishment using these sort of retaliation tactics on customers? I do not feel safe shopping at this store at all anymore but know this his conduct is going to be investigated! I have also noticed A LOT of expired food being set out on the shelves at this store as well as old food in the deli....ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! I will also be contacting the Health Department regarding this issue as well.

A positive on Checkout staff always friendly and helpful with the exception of the DELI area always appears to be short staffed and an appearance and attitude by staff I'm here but really not interested in helping you. we recently left the store after waiting 10 minutes for assistance.And when someone finally appeared and the question was did you want something nope just decided to stand at the counter and stare at the cheese. We walked out not to return to the Deli area for sure. Also the store could use a good cleaning inside and out and possibly decongest the isles a bit so you can at least get by a fellow shopper in the same isle. Only using Vons if in a hurry otherwise Sprouts or Whole Foods will to pay a bit more for prompt service and quality !

It's a mid-tier grocery store that charges Whole Foods prices. I don't really see why everything is so expensive because it's the same items but just more expensive.

If you value your time, don't order from the deli. I get it's hard to find staff these days but they are really scraping the bottom of the barrel.
