Doug and Triple A Automotive are awesome! As my wife and I were driving home to Los Angeles from Yosemite with our trailer in tow, my truck had a major breakdown. We were in Coarsegold on a Friday afternoon, and most auto shops couldn’t even look at the car for at least a week. As we were waiting for a tow truck, one of my wife’s friends recommended that we try Doug and Triple A Automotive. I called Doug, told him the situation, and he said that he couldn’t look at it until Monday morning but that I should bring it in. On Monday morning, I had the truck towed to his shop and left it there for Doug to work his magic. It wasn’t an easy fix, but the entire time Doug was always communicating with me and letting me know what they were going to do to get my truck back on the road. It took a few weeks, but that was mainly due to issues with parts. I finally got my truck back, drove it back to L.A., and even took another long road-trip with it this past weekend and it is as good as it ever was. I have a local mechanic that I trust and have been going to for years in Los Angeles. Now I have another mechanic that I trust in Clovis! If I lived closer, Doug and Triple A Automotive would be my go-to. Communication was awesome throughout and Doug was honest and forthright with his estimates and what they planned on doing to get my truck back on the road. Highly recommended!

Had a problem with my AC and Took care of me..with being new to the area I decided to take my truck because of a differential leak.
Turns out the it was an easy fix..both times Ive taken my vehicles they took care of me..great and honest shop..

Well, based on the squeaks coming from the bottom of the car, it was inevitable…..I had to get some of my suspension replaced or at least a bandaid of some sort. I expected it was going to be well over a $1,000, but I didn’t know how much. I dropped off my car and a short time later the owner, Doug, gave me a call with a report. It was only some bushings that needed to be replaced and only a couple hundred dollars. What a relief! I appreciate Doug’s honesty and integrity! I will recommend Triple A Automotive to my friends and family.

I can't say enough about Doug and Triple A. I've always trusted my dad to fix my cars until I moved 3 hours away and it just isn't feasible anymore. A coworker recommended Doug and I'm so thankful! I've taken my vehicles there for probably 15 years. He goes above and beyond on every job. Doug will even call my dad to go over repairs and discuss possible fixes. I've referred several friends and they have all been very happy as well. It means a lot to have a mechanic I know I can trust.

I just read the most unkind review of an employee at Triple A Automotive. I know this lovely, kind, God fearing woman. She is NONE of the things written in that review. I don't understand why people lie when they get mad, so sad. Triple A Automotive is trustworthy and honest to a fault as are the employees.

The receptionist of this business is incredibly rude, ill-mannered, derisive, jeering, cruel, unprofessional, and extremely ignorant. I do not understand how a person with a low-educated mindset can work at a place like this. She is not professional at all. I believe her name is DESIREE HARTMAN. She is on Facebook. Not sure if she is married to the owner but regardless of relativity, she needs to be humbled and have better customer service skills. This is probably the only place of employment she will ever have. Sad to say but people like her don't get far with an ugly attitude. She completely and physically laughed at the idea my car broke down and needed a new battery. I'm sorry but last time I checked I'm not sure how that humors anyone dealing with car trouble. Then her response was that most customers have a better sense of humor instead of apologizing. I hope God blesses her and helps her be a more kind person. A person like this needs God and a Bible in their life. She was Very unprofessional and honestly embarrassing to even encounter a person like her. The fact they have people they know from this business like their own content should already give you an idea that most of the positive reviews on here and on Facebook are false. DO NOT COME HERE TO GET YOUR CAR FIXED.

Charged me $140 dollars for an oil change and to “look around”I let them know that the car was leaking coolant because I had to refill the reservoir. And instead of doing a pressure test, like any professional would, they decide to just “look around”. And charge me 70 dollars to just do that.Then when I come back to pick up the car they tell me to just wait until the reservoir goes empty again. And when that happens to come back.I think that’s incredibly unethical business and think they should return my money for “looking around” as they didnt actually do any labor.Next time I’ll do the work MYSELF. We only brought the car in because it was under a warranty. That they didn’t even utilize it.Save your money.Service: General repairs & maintenance
