I went to do a return, originally paid with a gift card and $10 with debit. The woman in the jewelry section said because I paid with a gift card “ first” she couldn’t give me the $10 back on my card. This is retarded I’ve never heard of this anywhere before. Apparently she makes her own rules and is extremely rude!

I’ve shopped at lots of TJ Maxx stores over the years and this one is one of the worst. The clothing section is way too crowded—there’s not enough room in the aisles for two people to pass each other. Add someone with a shopping cart and you have a formula for claustrophobia. Additionally, the clothing inventory is inferior and uninteresting.

It’s a nice place to go shopping for a bargain. But not sure how I feel about what happened to me. I bought a pitcher that was originally priced for $9.99, but the top broke as I was paying at the register. They were nice to get me a new one they got one that had a “red” tag that was on sale for $10. What ever, it’s only a penny more not sure why it had a red tag for the exact same one. But that one broke as well, before i walked out the store, So I went to the back and got my own same exact one but that one was priced at $12.99. The manager in front said he will have to charge me the difference.

Good selection of merchandise. Every time I go the lines are soooo long and not enough cashiers. They won't call for back up until line gets wrapped around the store. Today's experience was awful. There were only two cashiers open and one of the girls being rang up on the register was also a store associate most likely on her day off and they broke into full conversation that never ended with the line wrapping around the store. Why is there five associates in your store behind the register, but only one person ringing people up? Don't bother going unless you have an extra 20-30 minutes waiting to pay.

I called ahead of time to ask if they had black, long sleeved dress shirts for boys, either alone or in a set, size 10, 12, or 14. I got put on hold a couple of times while someone went to check and then a girl told me they had them so I told her I was on my way. I get there and surprise, surprise, they don't have any long sleeve dress shirts for boys in any color, in any size (maybe they did for babies). Needless to say, I'm super annoyed. I just wasted time/gas/$/effort to get here because I was told they had what I needed and they didn't.

this location has friendly staff, great selection of regular off season merchandise & is well organized. i love finding one off items at tj maxx during christmas & the visit this day didn't disappoint. we came in specifically for christmas ornaments but they really only carried hallmark brand harry potter & disney princesses (jasmine & frozen characters) ornaments. there was one golden retriever ornament but no other canines to choose from. they did, however, carry these cute tiny wooden santa & elf figurines, made in sweden, that i could diy into tree ornaments. see pictures. also, i needed a rain hat & found a pink/white tweed hat that the store ANTHROPOLOGIE carried for over $50+ & the tj maxx discount price was $9.99! great price! very happy with the finds i just found!
