This is my favorite local fish store. Mark is the best. Awesome tanks and great advice. If you need anything aquarium related, just ask and he’ll get it for you.

so the most recent review for this aquarium shop is 3 years ago. i'll give an update. i wish i could give more stars bc the guy working here (might be the owner?) was nice & quick to help with questions about stuff in his store. problem is, it's hard to stay long here unless you know exactly what you need bc it smells really bad, like urine - mainly in the back - of ammonia. it's bc of the feeder mice & where they are placed in the back- it's not properly up-kept maybe. the carpet in diff areas looked like something was trying to grow out of it & i came out of this store feeling like i needed an immediate shower. i had to spray myself w isopropyl alcohol before getting back into my car. there were a variety of food selections, stones & driftwood; a variety of tank sizes, filters, and tools. the fish (saltwater & freshwater) for the most part seemed healthy, active & were beautiful. the snail tank was pretty gross but that's sort of expected (?). there wasn't a huge guppy variety, just blonde koi guppies. the glo fish & tetras were plentiful tho. the aquatic plants in the freshwater tank did not look healthy - most of it looked like it was dying. one of the tanks the angel fish were in looked a bit dirty..but with that, the fish looked healthy & active. there's a beautiful selection of coral in the saltwater tank in the front left of the store by the door - which was pleasant. the two saltwater tanks at the front were gorgeous, clean & well maintained. very diff to the freshwater tanks in the back. all in all, unless i know exactly what i need from this place, i don't believe i'll come back for fish, plants, decor or anything. that's a bummer. i was trying to avoid buying a particular fish breed at petco or petsmart..

Let’s begin with this. This is a small business, not your local PetCo, Pet Smart, Pet Supplies. You will not find fish tanks, you will however, find a great selection of fish. Looking over other peoples reviews, you can easily see that this was one of the main complaints people had. Don’t base your opinion on those people, go in and check it out yourself. It’s a small business and the owner is great, sometimes he’s busy and can’t talk but he’s always been very helpful. Be patient, take a look around, ask questions if you’re actually interested in the trade. This man is incredibly knowledgeable and I always look forward to asking questions. Now, when it comes to the variety and choices, you definitely will find some options you won’t find elsewhere & a lot healthier fish as well. If you’re interested in saltwater fish, I’d definitely say this is a great place to checkout, freshwater fish can be found anywhere, health however will depend on who takes care of them and how they were received. & the owner of Seven Seas Aquarium definitely cares for his fish.

I’m giving 2 stars because while the tanks inside look magnificent and the store itself looks well-stocked, which I’m sure points to a knowledgable owner… I’ve literally never been able to actually get into the store because it’s always closed. I’ve been trying since I first got back into the hobby two years ago and STILL haven’t been able to find it open.

Love this guy! Very knowledgeable. He told me exactly what to do for my tank. It worked no more dead fish. I will not buy my aquarium needs at any other store. ?❤️?

Only place in two cities that had the plecos I wanted and needed. Helped me pick up some proper plants, super friendly, didn't try to sell me anything he knew I didn't need, all around great place.

Have known Mark and his father for twenty plus years if you want healthy fish Seven seas is well above PetSmart or whitey's It's a small fish store that takes real care in their stock
