Pretty decent selection of games but insanely overpriced. Copy of Pokemon Gold for $120 when it goes online for $50-60? Other games were also at least $20 more than what they normally sell for. The staff seemed nice and welcoming but we didn't interact much. I dont think I'll return unless they start lowering prices.

I absolutely love this place. I love that they still carry games from older consoles ranging from the snes to the ps5. I recently bought a Wii from them which was a really good deal. the guy who helped me was super nice and helped me fix my rewards since my name had a typo when it was first put in but over all such a cool place and would totally recommend for game collectors or people who want nostalgia

This was my first time going to Blue Shell Gaming for help. The gentlemen that assisted me was very knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and resolved my problems in a timely manner. I highly recommend this place for your gaming needs.

Still better then GameStop but this store is not what it use to be. Staff was rude when asking a couple questions. I asked about a PSOne and he had no idea what it was. So I gave up and took my money online unfortunately. Still good for a lot of retro gaming stuff. Just don't ask the staff for any help. I wish there was still a local store you can talk to that staff about retro gaming in town.

I am pleased with the service I received from the counter girl to the tech that tried to help me with a ps4 console. The tech powered up my console and tried to fix it right then and there! (It was stuck in safe mode and he tried to reinstall the software hoping to send me home with it same day.) However, he ended up diagnosing the console with needing a new hard drive; at which point it was checked in and he gave me a 24-48 hour turn around ETA. The $80 price (+$50 for the diagnosis) seemed reasonable to me considering I had no idea where else I'd take it to, and replacing it with a used one could come with the same or worse issues. Almost exactly 24 hours later, my console was ready to be picked up, and it works like it's brand new. Based on that one experience I will be back for any future diagnostics or repairs I need.

I sent in a new 3ds xl for repair since the touchscreen wasn't working. I paid 35 for a diagnostic/cleaning (they didn't even clean it very well, still smudge marks on screen and dusty). Then I get a call saying that they need to replace the digitizer for 65. A week or two later I get a call saying that the device is completely broken and that I have to pay 15 dollars for it. So basically I sent in a partially working device, paid 50 dollars, and received a completely broken device. Only discount was on the digitizer for being 15 instead of 65, but they still broke a device worth around 250$

Spouse purchased a pre-owned PS3 controller to play some throwback games - bought it, took it home, guess what? Doesn't work. No returns or exchanges. Waste of money.

Good place to shop for new and pre owned games, consoles or to get your console fixed. I have bought games for my PS3 and had my kids Xbox console fixed there. Awesome place. I totally recommend going here at least once.

These workers are awesome. They are very knowledgeable. I had tons of questions and they were very helpful. They have three stores which is awesome depending on what side of Fresno you’re on. Tons of games to look at. They can look up a game you’re looking for if they don’t have it to see if one of the other stores have it.

This place is horrible literally horrible. Don’t go here for anything. Had a shadowless charmander in here. Market value is literally 6 bucks even with centering perfect. They charged me 30 bucks even tho I asked 2 days in a row if they could do better. Couldn’t get ahold of Their boss so I never got an answer. So I finally said I’ll take it seeing as I’m a charmander collector. They had the audacity to still charge taxes on top of that. Never buying them anything from them again and I recommend you do the same.

Amazing selection of new (and especially vintage) games, systems, and accessories! They have three locations so I make sure to visit each one periodically to see what’s new! They also do repairs— I recently had my OG Xbox repaired and after a week’s time, the system is working as good as new! The technician communicated very well and everything was real up-front. I love this place!
