They came highly recommended. But we can not recommend. They quoted a price and we agreed verbally. But the quoted price seemed high, so I checked around and found that she over charged for an hour. When I questioned it, office person said she would show me the how the hours were figured when we collected the car. When we arrived to collect the vehicle and pay, she refused to show us anything. "If you want the car, you have to pay." After we left, we looked under the hood and found a hose clamp and screw not attached to anything--just laying under windshield wipers--but don't know were it goes. Not professional. We are taking the vehicle to a reputable repair shop. I expect she made a mistake with the model so she compounded the problem by not trying to make it right by at the least taking a look at the book time proof we brought with us, "I don't care what you have there". If there is nothing to hide, why hide it? I don't begrudge the money for the work they did, but when you make ten times less than their hourly rate, it hurts a lot. "Book time" is standard in the industry where a shop can look up the number of hours it will take to repair something. I suggest you check the book times yourself by going to the county library online and look it up first. She was rude and disrespectful, then she said "don't come back!" Just sad. Reading some of the other reviews, maybe she was having a bad day, but most reviews are quite old. Unfortunately we had to file a complaint with state department of Automotive repair.

Bod and Sue are always super nice and make taking your car in stress free. I've always had good results in my repairs and service. Bob is also super quick about getting my car back to me so I dont have to worry about getting to work or school.

I have been taking my cars to North County Automotive for years now. Everything from my clapped out 40 year classics to my new rigs. They have always been able to diagnose the vaguest issue I have posed to them. Bob and Sue are willing to work with you if you have a budget, and help prioritize and schedule maintenance on your vehicles. I have always recieved exceptional work and a quick turnaround. I always have and will continue to rely on their expertise.

Great place! Bob and Susan are truly wonderful people! My car was dying along the highway passing Coverdale and I just barely made it to their shop until it completely died. They were able to fix it very quick. I found them to be completely honest and caring and I would trust them wholeheartedly for my repairs. I'm even thinking of driving an hour out of my way to take my car here next time if it were to have any problems! Hard to find people like these two. Susan even drove me downtown to my ride and then picked me up when I came back. Very nice of her! They did great work and I would recommend. Thank you Bob and Susan!
