What a gem! Cabin 27 has one hell of a view! The room was basic inside but spacious! It had a full, well equipped kitchen. Better than average bed. Did I mention the view?!?
But where I was most impressed, was the service. For a variety of reasons, I didn't get the text for the door code. I called the front desk and was met with a recording. However it was personalized to me! They wanted to make sure that they knew I did not have the text and we're waiting on me to make sure I can get checked in. They went out of their way to do that. Then when I spoke to them later they were so kind and helpful. Exactly what you would want in any situation. Just really can't say enough about the place. If you're thinking about it, just do it!

We stayed in cottage 20, which sleeps 4. Spotlessly clean. wooden floors throughout. Has lovely cotton bed linen on the very comfy beds. Bath and pool towels provided.
Cottage is very well appointed, 2x double beds,, comfy sofa, dining table and chairs and kitchen is fully equipped for 4 guests. Full-size fridge freezer and cooker as well as microwave, dishwasher.. Plenty of space /equipment toprepare/cook if you want to.
Cottage 20 is next to the pool and is right in the shore of the lake.
Absolutely fantastic place to stay in beautiful lake side setting, which I highly recommend if you're looking to stay in Clearlake.

It was a beautiful property but from other airbnb's I've been in had more amenities like sponges for the dishes, washcloths, soap, shampoo, and conditioners.

My buddy found this place via Google. We enjoyed one night here. The view on the lake is amazing. It cannot be beat for the price. I would definitely come back here and recommend it.

Great resort, rooms are very clean.
They have a great swimming pool and beautiful lakes view.
Just a few minutes from restaurants and grocery stores

We had a very wonderful time there. It was very relaxing, quiet, comfortable and affordable. The owner's name is Bob, he is very friendly and hospitable. We will definitely be going back and recommending this resort to our friends and other family members.
Rooms: The rooms are very clean and spacious. Some rooms have kitchens which was very useful. I'm out of the rooms have patios to lounge on and take in the view.
Nearby activities: There's a small beach at the resort or you can swim in the pool. There is a nearby park where they're also is a beach. They also have miniature golf down the street.
Safety: Rooms are secured with combination locks. There are video cameras all over the grounds. The resort is well lit at night.
Noteworthy details: The resort has mini barbecue pits, some are propane and some are charcoal. There is a boat ramp to launch your boats. You can also rent boat slips for a very low price. There is plenty of space to park your trailer. There is a swimming pool and a beach for swimming. There is great fishing on the grounds. There is a large grassy area to play and there is a propane fire pit. They also have ice machines and vending machines. The rooms are non-smoking rooms but there is a designated smoking area near the picnic area. If you don't own a boat they have boat rentals and jet ski rentals, pontoons and bass boats.

The manager, Bob, has a recorded history of up charging credit cards. Yelp Reviews and Google reviews show this. Bob, the site manager, charged my credit card an extra $387.30 stating that I violated their visitor policy. The website employs the bait and switch tactic and does not disclose anywhere that no visitors are allowed to visit you while staying in a cottage. It Sells the location as Perfect for Gatherings in their Peninsula and plenty of FREE public parking and Amazing Event location. Then tells you "click here" in the “about us” section for more info and the link is dead. You receive an email with a list of rules after you make the reservation and you are required to sign stating you have read and agree to the terms. I called and spoke to Bob 12/8 before making the online reservation to inquire about my dog staying there because he was a little over the max noted on the website. I told him then that I was coming into town to celebrate Christmas with my family. He didn't say anything about visitors. He waited until he saw them show up and then cornered my daughter in the ice room demanding to know what cottage she was in and followed her back. She's 17. Bob is also intentionally applying the “policies” incorrectly and to his financial advantage. The policies state the $100 deposit is forfeited if you have a visitor. Bob demanded entry into my cottage to do a head count of the grandparents and grandkids there for gift exchange. Then he charged me (and other guest as per other reviews) the "undisclosed guest" fee, which is for overnight and is $20.00+tax per person. My family was there from 1:00 to 4:00. I called to checkout Christmas morning, and he refused to provide a receipt. You cannot see him in person. Cannot access the office, it's always locked and unmanned, you can only call the office number. He yelled at me and hung up on me twice. I have screen shots of the convo times and length and witnesses that were in the car. I emailed the day after Christmas asking for a receipt again and he emailed one and charged me another $100 stating there was dog hair in the room. I paid the $35.00 daily pet fee, and I took pictures and videos the morning we left. The cottage was immaculate. And, the $100 pet cleaning charge showed up on my credit card the day I emailed asking for the receipt and AFTER a family member posted a review on Google. Another family member posted a review and it was removed but I have a screen shot of it and Bob’s venomous rage response. I responded to the email December 28th stating I was charged incorrectly for the visitor fee and the cleaning fee for dog hair and included excerpts from their emailed "policies". I also asked for proof for the excess cleaning charge and stated I have pictures and videos (time/date stamped) of the cottage that morning right before I called Bob to check out. I never received a response. YELP has reviews dating back to 2017 with the SAME complaint, that Bob was charging excess and yelling at guests. The owner is an LLC, Clear lake #1 LLC which is connected to Cathedral Hill Associates and this property is in their portfolio as a PREMIER location and they pride themselves on providing delightful places for guests to gather and enjoy. Do NOT stay here and if you have experienced any of the above, please write the Lake County Chamber of Commerce and Senator Mike McGuire to demand investigation and action.

The owner is the most disgusting and hateful person my family has ever encountered. They made my aunt feel bad for inviting family over during Christmas after she already to agreed to pay the extra fees for allowing company over. My aunt and her family are from Sacramento and it’s rare we are all allowed to spend Christmas with one another….. He yelled at her Christmas morning and also threatened to abuse her dog. NEVER STAY HERE!!!

Fantastic experience, owners were very inviting, friendly and accessible if questions came up. Rooms were well kept and the location was great. Cabin #27 on the water is extra special - great spot for a weekend getaway! Will definitely be back.Rooms: Clean and great!
