Incompetent, rude, and petty postmaster should be fired talks to her employees like garbage in front of customers actively hinders productivity if you have a problem submit a complaint it'll catch up to her eventually we'll get somebody who knows what thier doing because currently the staff have no idea either.

I feel compelled to write a review of this USPS as frankly I was pretty concerned after seeing the reviews here, and worrying that my moving up to the Oaks would be a nightmare for mail and packages. Thankfully the experience I had was both very pleasant with the person serving my both personable and professional - helping me out with paperwork I hadn't properly completed and helping a few customers behind me with a smile and friendly attitude.Seeing as these negative reviews are older, I'm optimistic that the leadership/staff changes that were needed have happened and that things are greatly improved with the people that are there now. (note: I do not disagree with those lower scores, they all appear to be very genuine, my review is to showcase that things have hopefully changed for the better and i'd like to reflect that)Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars today is that I will be going back there a few times over the next month for a variety of activities - if everything lines up then I'll be very happy to lift this to 5 stars and start to balance out those older, lower scores.

It's awesome that you can call them directly and they answer the phone. Always helpful and polite. I work during their business hours so, when I get an alert from any shipping company stating my package has been delivered to my PO Box, I give them a call and ask them to put it in a large box and leave the key in my box so I can retrieve it. That is amazing service! Cost has gone up a lot since I first moved here 25yrs ago but, worth it!

i really love the Oaks & most of the people here. I will say however, I've only had one instance that I think was flat out theft. I have often ordered things on line & although some items seem to take forever to finally get here, they have in fact always (eventually) arrived. However, there was an instance where I was tracking my package & it showed that it was delivered & scanned, but yet it was nowhere to be found. Well after weeks of going around & around & jumping through hoops & taking all of the steps needed to resolve the mystery of where my package was or get a refund or something...anything, nothing was resolved. Clearly I got burned all the way around & some employee at the CLO post office got off with a very lucrative package that was meant for me.

I often order thing online and receive packages regularly. Receiving my Orders is never a simple process with this post office. They never attempt to notify us of when they arrive for delivery. To the point that it almost makes me question if they even attempt to stop at our residence. I only know they "came" through email. They are supposed to leave a notice in your mailbox if they couldn't deliver the package to you. Outside of a convoluted process of self-identification, this slip is the only way to get your package in person. This slip is never left when they deliver. I often only receive them after the post office hours end or even the next day. It takes two days or more every time I receive a package. It's just unacceptable how difficult it is to receive my own damn mail.

They are some of the laziest workers ever here. Don’t answer the front because of the blaring rock music they have going on. How unprofessional. You have to call by phone number to let them know you’re there most of the time I go. And the fact that they don’t follow directions when you ask for your package to be left in a locked box is very infuriating. Their excuse is. “We forgot” or “there weren’t any boxes to lock your package in” One is a lie. When I checked a few times I have asked them to do this there are many open boxes with no keys in them. Hope they defund the USPS. Getting my next day delivery packages are such a hassle with them. Why can’t we have a mail box and get mail delivered properly

This is the worst post office ever. They are always rude, the service is horrible and God forbid you have to pick up a package.

When you send a letter to an address formerly served but now is a P.O. Box instead of the standard Cluster Box today , How difficult is it in a SMALL town, Small Post Office to just put it in the correct Box for that Customer? Talk about forgetting about who you work for or Caring for your customer.... :( Signed The Son of TWO retired U.S. Postal Workers.

Very friendly people but their performance is lacking. An average of every 2 months I get someone else's package. And this happens to most of the town.

I like small town postal services because you are known & greeted like a friend. Things can be sent general delivery & they always seem 2 find the recipient The thing i dont like about small town post offices is they close early open late and make their own hours and have no stamp vending machines. To get a single stamp you have to wait for business hours. Its cozy friendly & vintage. The outside of the office is beautiful with flowering planter boxes . Inside really could use a cleaning dusting & garbage on the floor picked up.

There's one problem with that P.O. its Sandra she is very rude. I never saw a postal worker treat her customers and employees like garbage. And Sandra controls where your allowed to have a mailbox put up. I just had a neighbor come banging on my door saying a car was looking through my mailboxe. Because sandy dont allow a mailbox put up in front of my residents, i have to have it a 1/4 mile down from my home, on a different road. I hope they replace Sandy with a better employee. Because we deserve better services than what Sandy does at the Clearlake Oaks Ca office

Worst Post Office I have ever been too. Packages will sit behind the counter for a few days to half a week before they are put in a po box. I know Federal employees are often lazy, but these people makes sloths look like cheetahs.
