I love that it is in a secluded little spot right on the lake. Nice dock for fishing and a great patio area to set at and enjoy the view. Nice clean rooms that so far from what I've seen come with a nice size kitchenette. Beds are very comfortable. The owners are amazingly kind people. I do appreciate their hospitality
Rooms: Nice size kitchenette. Would say bigger than the kitchens I had in my home. Nice little dining area in the kitchenette.

I am so upset by the hotel manager at Lake Marina Inn. We made a reservation online for a veteran who just came out of the hospital with a heart condition. His GPS sent him all over the lake looking for the Inn so he called me frantic around 9:30pm lost. I immediately called the manager of the Inn to get directions (with my friend on the line), but because my friend was upset/frustrated/scared, instead of directions, the manager cancelled our paid-for reservation. This left my veteran friend basically stranded on a cold night with nowhere to stay as he had no internet to book another hotel. The manager of the Inn had absolutely no compassion for my friend -- and we still had to pay the service charge. The manager left him to die in his car. So I hope you will take this in to consideration when booking a place to stay. The Lake Marina Inn had no respect or compassion for a veteran who needed a warm place to stay after leaving the hospital!

Nice rooms but older. The hotel is right on the lake. They have a pier you can fish off of. Owners and staff are very nice.

Vinny is a great host and great person! Lakefront hotel with great fishing!!Parking is tough. (Do not block the neighbors!)Recommend if local ABNB's are not available.

Place was a dive. Charged more than online reservation. Room smelled really bad and there was a puddle of what I hope was water in one of the kitchen chairs. No sheets on the bed. Only stayed long enough to call and get a room some place else.

The owners are doing a lot of work to improve this motel and it shows. The funishings in the room are new and clean. The view is beautiful directly over the lake. However, the bathroom was nearly enough for me to leave. The smell of mildew was so strong from the bathroom it was in the entire room. Again everything in the bathroom was clean, but the exhaust fan didn't seem to work and the room was beyond musty. I would have asked for a refund if I didn't already know there were no rooms available nearby. I was in room 311, hopefully other rooms are less musty. I would return if the bathrooms were fixed.

The worst of the worst, the place was full of roaches and absolutely dirty. The bed was full of pubic hairs, even in the mini fridge. I mean full of it. No way the sheets were changed or the floors swept. I requested new bed sheets but they could not provide the correct size, even after 6 attempts and the roaches were brave, no fear. Walking around like they owned the place. There is no way this hotel should be rated as a 4 star..very misleading as it is really is a 1/2 star hotel. I know this is Clear Lake and I should not expect much, but damn the roaches and the pubic hair is just nasty!
