“Shout out to YVETTE! I normally dread going to the post office, but she made my experience so special. She has wonderful, personalized service, a constant smile and works with the customers to ensure they’re getting the best price possible. Goldstar employee!”

1945 Contra Costa Blvd, Pleasant Hill“Small, community post office. We've always had great service. Lines can get long around the holidays, like most post office stations, but the team tries their best. We know the work can often be thankless, so kindly ask what you need, but be thoughtful and caring with your local USPS employee.”
“Very small location but efficient, the lady at the front desk was extremely helpful and also asked if I needed to purchase stamps which I thought very thoughtful!”

1922 Tice Valley Blvd, Walnut Creek“Never thought I’d write a positive review for a post office, but I left feeling incredibly impressed at the service I received here. I came in with a large box that was probably 50% full. Seeing how high the shipping cost was, he helped me find a smaller box and hacked it so my items fit perfectly into the box, saving me $50. I can’t believe he took the time to help me, going above and beyond when he did not have to. Thank you Freddy!”

420 W 4th St, Antioch“This is where I have my PO Box as well as where I do mailing for my home business. Rowena is the only employee who can run this office as smoothly as she does. She has the best personality which makes it nice to go there, as well as she is so organized & efficient. It would be nice if the main post office delivered our mail in a timely manner so that she wasn't left dealing with frustrated customers when it's completely out of her hands. Rowena manages her day so efficiently and I know this because I'm in there at least 2x a day every day.”
“A much smaller post office with only one worker in the front but you'll get the customer experience that is severely lacking at all the other nearby post offices. The postal worker today was amazing. She was very nice - explained everything with detail and patience when I had questions. This office is a little more out-of-the-way for me, but I'll be using it regularly.”
“This is a great post office! It's unfortunate that their reviews don't reflect it.The staff is always incredibly helpful. And they have a lot of patience in dealing with helping people with their packaging. I've never seen a look of contempt from any of them. In fact the opposite. 5 Huge ? ? ? ? ?”
“Amazing amazing passport service. Ali helped us with our children’s passports. Checked every single thing very clearly and even helped correct mistakes. We got the passports in less than 2 weeks! I am so impressed with the level of care!”
“I always find the people in the Walnut Creek Post Office to be friendly, hardworking and helpful. Parking is easy and free. There can be lines but it’s not the fault of the employees.”

2605 Camino Tassajara, Danville“I made an appointment for passport services for my 2-year-old daughter. We arrived on time and were immediately greeted by Dean. As we all know, the passport process can be confusing the first time around. Luckily, Dean was very knowledgeable about the process and helped us step by step with the application. Additionally, my daughter was afraid to take pictures and cried the whole time. Dean patiently waited and allowed my wife and I to calm our daughter down and get her to stand still. As a result, the picture came out great. Customer service is the most important aspect of a business, and Dean's customer service showcased his experience and job knowledge in customer service. The pride he took in his work demonstrated his commitment to his customers and inspire us to treat other with patience and respect. The only improvement I can think of is to have a designated area for passport picture. Like a chair with white background.”
9AM - 5PM
2121 Meridian Park Blvd, Concord“Passports! I had to get passport renewals for minors, and that can only be done in person. It was impossible to get an appointment anywhere, but they do walk-in passport applications here!!!
Here is what I learned and my pro tips:
-walk-in appointments MWF 9-10am ONLY
-They only take the first 20 people… (I don’t know if that’s actually just the first 20 passport, but I don’t think it’s groups)
-If you’re number 21, you’re gonna have to come back another day
-If you wanna make sure you are in that first 20, you need to get your rear end there *** early*** (the line was about 30 people along by 8:30 AM today)
-don’t think that you can show up at 9 AM and be fine, at least not at this time of year
-Come with everything already completed
-Use black ink only
-Better yet fill out your application online and print it out
-Don’t worry about passport pictures, they take them there and charge $15
-They take check or debit card for passports. No credit cards.
-They’re strict and very busy, so bring your patience, be polite and be humble to their process
-if you are eligible to renew by mail, just do it and save yourself the hassle
The lady that helped me was very down to business, but awesome! I think this post office is great, they’re all nice and helpful.”
“The older gentleman is professional and helpful. He ensures your documents are in order and the forms are filled correctly. Unlike USPS locations in Antioch that are run by lazy people, here the gentleman is fast and tries his best to help his customers.”
“They don't answer the phone because they don't have one here unfortunately, they have really long lines, and the only good thing about this office is they are helpful and are nearby where I live so I can send packages”
“Keevin is the best, great service, respectful and great knowledge of service to renew passport and to do transactions smoothly and Wright. Appreciate you ?, From now on this is Location for me to renew passport. Thank you.”
“The post office attendants at the counter are friendly and nice. They let me know that for flat rate boxes you need to bring in your box already taped and sealed since USPS no longer provides the special free tape.”
“This is a really nice USPS store located in a nice, serene area in the Clayton Downtown area and next to a nice park, so the area was very green and surrounded by trees and plants. I went there on a weekend morning and pleasantly found that finding street parking to be super easy, and in fact there was a lot of parking available right in front of the store. I was able to conduct my business there and get in and out of the store pretty quickly. Definitely I would go to this USPS store again if I happen to be in the area.”
